Between he and Perry, Noah has a real future here. Size, strength, shooting, defensive switching ability. I think Perry ends up transferring to a mid-major school eventually. But Noah signed on with an SEC school before us for a reason. He’s the real deal.
There was a busted play late in the second half where the ball bounced among three Kentucky players and Noah snatched it up under the basket and layed it in. Very court smart and athletic. Tremendous hustle. Love to see the first year players coming along.
Yeah he does, Kobe Brea also 5-5, 3-3 from 3 huge game.
I think Perry can be a real contributor here too but Noah has the size to be better.
I’d like for you to be right about Perry, but I just don’t see it. I’m not even sure the guy is 6’1”.
I do, too. But that’s what worries me about TP. He’s just has that slight build. Add some lbs and some strength, and he may be OK. He’s got the stroke. Just hard to play him because he gets abused on D.
I think he could be like Brandon Stockton, granted Stockton was a way better defender but I could see that level of production at least.
Noticed it early on this year that he just gives off a Deron Feldhaus vibe. You think he’s not athletic enough to be out there but he’s always engaged, never looks nervous and always in the right place. Just one of those guys
When you mention strength, I think that's often an underappreciated thing (by me as well). And strength is usually something you think about more with a Jr. or Sr. Noah, being a freshman, still has a lot a physical maturing to do (along with weight room work), but he starts with a really nice base to build on with regard to strength. And I think it'll be a big factor for his game.
He didn’t hurt us on defense. I’ll take that from him or Perry.
Maybe fans don’t pick up on it, but Noah is able to switch well on defense. We don’t have many guys that can do that.
You remember all the naysayers on here telling us Trent was too slow and not athletic enough . They forgot one thing this kid is from the mountains and coal mines of Kentucky and he is tough as nails that three he hit was HUGE and man does he play hard put Trent on that long list of home grown that knows what it means to strap this across his chest K-E-N-T-U-C-K-Y

Hes our most dependable guy at getting 50/50 balls. He really fights and has nice athleticism.
Chandler played better but had what really should've been a game changing awful turnover. That literally almost cost us the game.
Im very concerned about him. Hes already 21 when he showed up. That is a significant fact in terms of his ceiling.
If he's ever going to seriously contribute, he needs to massively work on his handle. Hes a turnover waiting to happen when he dribbles. Couldn't believe pope gave him a possession or two at point.
