I’m highly doubting this one for now personally
I think all of us should realize by now that Pope's staff keeps things very tight. And, based on this portal season, there really are no "insiders" anymore.
I’ve heard there’s a 50% chance he comes here and a 50% chance he doesn’t
I’d say that true to an extent but people have been correct on some things this portal season

True - but there are 2 sides to a story. Pope/UK isn’t talking. But maybe the other side is

That would be a nice pickup. He’s poised to breakout and played well when he had to start last year.
I don’t believe it all. He wouldn’t start here and probably wants to be a starter. I’d love him to be a backup PG but I can’t see leaving Florida for that role here
I think the wrong conclusions have been made because we missed some transfers. But we knew who Pope was going after. They're not keeping secrets. The staff be leaking. Probably on purpose. Plenty of iniders.
What's been wrong is the guess if if they sign on the line or not.

At least he can shoot, 40% on catch and shoot. 45% on unguarded 3’s last year.
Yeah he can absolutely guard and play make for sure. He’s tough and championship experience. I really would’ve liked Griffen better.
Sounds like they like him, he would be the classic out of nowhere.
We don’t have any standout shooters on this roster so far other than Williams.
Depends on how you view some of our other pieces in terms of development…that said, I absolutely want Griffen to know we have another reliable shooter on the wing
Decent overall but amazing Catch and shoot numbers, 40%, and 45% on shots classified as unguarded. I’m not sure the requirement for that, usually it’s like a defender is so many feet away I believe.
That is starting to look like a Cal roster lol, lot of great athletes, not so much on shooting.

Alabama ran us out of the gym last season. Pope seems to have emphasized getting better athletes and defenders. I’d also say he’s confident players can get open threes in his offense.
Every Pope team is gonna score. I love the all out effort to be a defensive team
