2000 was QB Brett Basanez from St Viator, went on to play at Northwestern.

No,you were right. Basanez graduated in 02 with Brain Hare so he would of been 01 POY. He was the same age as McGarigle who went on to play with him at NU. It has to be Payton

Stumped on St Viator 00. Jarrett Payton was a freshman at Miami in 99, so it can't be him

Want to bet? Basanez graduated in 2001, his senior season was 2000. His brother Kyle graduated with Brian Hare in 2002. I'm not even "guessing" I already got it correct, check for yourself.

Because we're not that good and its much more fun to toss around names and opinions. So I got one. 98 shows Proviso East. That was the same season that Jon Beutcher from WWS set a then national HS record of 60 TD passes in a 14 game season capped with a state title for what mane considered on of the best teams in state history.. So who beat him out?

1989 was Alex Rodriguez, Running Back from Lane Tech, played at Ohio State, positive on this one. 1992 I want to say Phil Adler, running back WWS, not 100%, but 90%

I was perfect from 1988 to present, but I got one wrong because the guy who did this didn't spell Jordan Tassio correctly.
