Ya I don’t know I was surprised when the guy told me . I know people were pissed about how he did the baseball regional tickets and how he the VB reseat went. But I can’t imagine that would be enough unless as you say the wrong person was on the wrong end of those changes .

And the basketball reseat and the football reseat and just generally nickel and dimeing the fans whenever he can, higher concessions, higher fees, etc. but the teams have all been successful, football mediocre, the most egregious thing is the unwarranted extension of Rhule.

That Rhule extension was beyond egregious. I’vet said it before, but it was definitely of levels that, at a minimum, needs a full blown investigation. There are some major fiduciary duty violations there. Minimum! If not outright fraud.

I had no idea there were a group of fans that wanted us to lose yesterday.. I'm no fan of the regime either, but they can have success in spite of themselves.. Colandrea and Rule are the real reason for much of the success this season. I believe there are very real concerns about what the AD is/has been doing. It's one of the few athletic departments with little to no debt, and we would like to keep it that way. Matt continues as long as his recruiting continues. He needs a special teams coach, and to stay out of the rest of it, like he mostly is.

Yep same here. I used to be in South end zone when Trev started the remodel talk I went to West club . I totally get the South end zone redo . But why can’t they do what they did in the north add some concourses for Restrooms and concessions. Yep football is not on the level of Volleyball anymore he has to be real careful.

Which “higher ups”? I doubt Gold gave much input unless Dannen suggested we should extend Rhule. I doubt there were any boosters of substance pining for the extension. My belief is the extension was virtually all on Dannen. Unlike retaining Frost and previous to that hiring Bo this was all on the AD and not driven by boosters.

According to the Big Red Rebuild website a reseat is: "...the process of reassigning all season ticket locations using a priority-based selection system. All season ticket holders—regardless of how long they've held tickets—must select new seat locations."

I've been asking people who hear things in Lincoln, but the A Dept is being mum on how the reseat process is going to take place. The drift I'm getting is it will basically be the seat yourself process. People with many points can select anything available in the stadium and they can start picking early days in the seat yourself process. I've heard it implied that someone who has has tickets for 40 years, but no donation points (grandfathered seats) will have some means to pick early, but it is unclear if/how that will happen. I have been following it as best I can because I don't have very many donor points, but hanging tough through Covid and Frost has allowed me to keep moving to where I am now that I really like. If I can't get a similar section during the reseat, I probably won't renew.

They could build a concourse and add exits half way up to a multilevel concourse as you suggest. My thought is that this is at least partly driven by demand for more luxury boxes.

I never said it wasn’t Dannenes idea. I just said there is NO AD in the country that can hand out extensions etc without a yes from someone above them . Just like NO AD has the authority to Fire or Hire anyone without a yes from someone above them
