According to the Big Red Rebuild website a reseat is: "...the process of reassigning all season ticket locations using a priority-based selection system. All season ticket holders—regardless of how long they've held tickets—must select new seat locations."

I've been asking people who hear things in Lincoln, but the A Dept is being mum on how the reseat process is going to take place. The drift I'm getting is it will basically be the seat yourself process. People with many points can select anything available in the stadium and they can start picking early days in the seat yourself process. I've heard it implied that someone who has has tickets for 40 years, but no donation points (grandfathered seats) will have some means to pick early, but it is unclear if/how that will happen. I have been following it as best I can because I don't have very many donor points, but hanging tough through Covid and Frost has allowed me to keep moving to where I am now that I really like. If I can't get a similar section during the reseat, I probably won't renew.

Within each level donors are split into season ticket holders and season ticket requestors, and then ranked within each group based upon priority points which are heavily weighted to current year donations. Selection appointment times are assigned based upon those rankings with season ticket holders having priority over season ticket requestors. When your assigned time comes up you can select any seats that have not already been taken, up to a designated maximum number. Bottom line is priority points don't matter nearly as much as they use to and it is the current donation amount which carries the most impact on improving your seat selection day/time.

Thought just the West and North stadiums were being reassigned and not the north end zone and east stadium if you’re already paying your donation, why would you have to reset yourself in the north or east end zones?

It only makes sense the Admin has a plan in case the wheels fall off. The Rhule extension was horrific and Danen hasn't even attempted to justify it (that I know of).

After a 3-0 start, it would be poor timing to do anything right now. But is a plan in place in case the losses start adding up? This wouldn't surprise anyone.

If Rhule keeps winning and gets to 8 or 9, the AD replacement plan is shelved. JMO

Ever since then, we have had two camps working hard to undermine each other at every opportunity in order to gain control of the program. Rather than working together for a common goal, we have been just digging ourselves into a deeper and deeper pit of anguish and despair.

I don't see it as 2 camps trying to undermine one another, just 2 camps with different ideas on how to win. From the traditionalist point of view, of which I am a member, we see only 1 coach who has "sort of" returned to the formula that was proven to work here long term. Every other coaching experiment was a coach that wanted to do it his way. The traditionalist still has yet to have the old formula tried .. That is the maddening part. The other side claims to look at things from new angles, but doesn't realize that the last 20 some years has been exactly that.. new angles of losing.

I am not sure going to Baltimore is a good thing. My wife’s younger brother is a law professor at the University of Maryland- Baltimore and lives in DC so I’ve been back there a few times. It is OK, but I am not leaving here anytime soon to live near my in-laws. (It has been asked). Also a plus for you is the ride to BWI is not as far as it is for me.

Yes, many of the long-term VB season ticket holders were pissed, a lot of them went from nice lower-bowl side court seats to the rafters. The AD's office didn't help anything by making the whole process so complicated, but it did result in several million more $$ to set aside for Rhule's eventual huge buyout!

I’ve driven in all 25 largest metros in USA including NYC and LA and without question Dc/ beltway/ Baltimore is worst traffic in US. Train- had to walk several blocks from the station- lot was completely full. Love the scenery- hate the scene.

I’ve taken exactly 2 Ubers in DC to and from that waterfront entertainment area. That was crazy. Not nearly as bad as Rome though.

I walked almost 20 miles one day to avoid it. Next day was in Munich- where everyone obeys the lights and laws and zero trash- night and day difference. Cool to experience it within same 24 hours.
