IMO the whole notion of the POTUS bringing in celebs or friends or whatever to the White House is silly although both sides seem to tacitly endorse it. Why doesn't the media criticize this?
What is especially galling and especially ironic is when a celebrity campaigns for a candidate and says politics should be clean and people shouldn't use who they know as a lever for influence, yadda, yadda, and then the politician gets elected and invites them to the White House and they accept. Wait a minute, doesn't that contradict what you campaigned for the politician on?
