Obama did not shut down coal. Can we at least live in the real world. The Real world is no longer using coal as it did in the past and as long as WV ignores this fact we will continue to have economic problems.

Mostly agree, but there is no reason to give up coal in the short term. Hopefully it can be a much needed bridge. We also need to work on high speed internet, roads, education, etc.I have ignored this topic pretty much. Obama's regs are costly to coal business, but, I don't think this will help them much, even if the cost of coal drops. Too many have shifted direction, no matter the prior cause. WV really needs to get into the vacation spot business. Not necessarily Dollywood type, but more of a Blowing Rock, NC style... log cabin, wood floor, folksy resort towns. The attractions are better in WV than NC.
