I maybe wrong , but isn't the president's job to investigate corruption in countries that are getting aid from the U.S ? Cant help who gets caught up in the web of corruption. Ukraine is the 3rd most corrupt country, I believe
It's not the president's job to investigate. It's the job of our state department, working with another country's investigative/prosecutorial body to work together to weed out corruption.
Ask your self this. Why didn't trump mention Mykola Zlochevsky, the former owner of Burisma, who was self dealing and everyone knew was corrupt, on the phone call?

Trump asked Zelensky to investigate the Bidens. My question was, if trump is clearly trying to eliminate corruption in Ukraine, as his excuse for investigating the Bidens, why didn't he ask Zelensky to investigate Zlochevsky (known, corrupt throughout Europe, which we are still trying to recuperate US funds as a result of his corruption)?
Wouldn't that be president Trump's state department? & he is only interested in American citizens robbing the American taxpayer, by way of Ukraine...

As I said yesterday, Congress has the receipts. Impeachments of Biden, Garland, and Wray should start within a month I'd guess, if the House has any gonads.
