You're funny.

Looks like Donnie was too busy golfing, or maybe he's outgrown his military costume since his last military play date... who knows. Maybe Pence wanted a chance to show off his costume... anyway, post confirmed.

Vigilance: Vice President Mike Pence told 2,500 US and Japanese sailors on Wednesday that in the face of North Korean provocation, 'the shield stands guard and the sword stands ready' Pence was speaking to both US servicemen and Japanese Self-Defense Forces personnel on the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, docked at the US Navy's Yokosuka base in Yokosuka, south of Tokyo.

I do, I do! One of your fellow Leftists just posted a complaint about Trump cutting the EPA (but he hasn't done anything)

I'm sure you're happy with the latest information from the Conference board index of CEO confidence for the economy too.

Of course Trump's not doing anything, so why worry about it right Best Virginia?

pull quote from index
"About two-thirds of CEOs surveyed anticipate an increase in employment levels in their industry over the course of this year, while less than one out of ten anticipates a decrease. When this question was asked in 2016, less than 30 percent of CEOs surveyed anticipated an increase in employment levels"

It's no secret that Repubs use 'convenient' wars to boost the economy. What matters most is the end result when someone like Obama has to come along and fix it, with our money. It's a never ending rise and fall for the majority of Americans but people like Trump and Bush get rich. That's all that matters to a wingnut.

Hey Best Virginia do you have a job?

Great my Man!

I want 94,000,000,000 other Americans who couldn't find work under your guy who "fixed" things to also have that privilege and fat paychecks.

If they find work under Trump, that means not only Republicans are getting richer but everyone else too. Including you Best Virginia!

You may hate Trump's guts and that's cool. But you'd have to be some special kind of "wingnut" yourself to hate the money he generates.

I want some and I want a lot more folks to get some too, don't you?

Best Virginia there is NO WAY Trump could become a Billionaire making money only for himself. He didn't start any "wars" to make his billions.

The more he made for himself, he expanded employment for others exponentially.

How many "school lunches" did that 35 million dollar tax bill he paid in just one year on the returns that were leaked out to us buy?

So you like making money right Best Virginia, but Trump shouldn't make any?

Too late Dude, he makes more than you...work harder.

How many inside deals did he make? How many "tips" did he get? How did playing golf with Clinton help Trump make his millions? How many millions did he make off the Trump U scam (luckily he didn't get away with that one), but how many scams did he get away with?

Boomer Trump pays more in taxes doing whatever he does to make his Billions than you or I can even dream of. I'm not envious of his economic prowess, and as far as I know nothing he did was illegal. He makes a lot money, and spreads it around by paying lots of taxes, and hiring lots of folks to help him make even more.

If I had a job because of him, I would not be complaining. You're on the Left and want social programs funded, I'd think you'd be happy with rich guys like Trump. He makes it easier for working stiffs like you and me who'd otherwise have to foot that tax bill were it not Trump's deep pockets.

You only know how much taxes he paid in 05, first, and second....he made his money by getting a loan and selling himself out. Dealmaker? Bs. I bet the people around him deserve more credit than he does for his business success. I bet he made millions on the bailouts and housing market crash, while working class and middle class Americans lost substantial portions of their retirements.

OK boom, as I said I don't know what Trump does to make Billions of dollars. All I know is I'm not doing it, and I doubt I even could. Oh how I so wish I could!

If it were that easy or as easy or relatively clever to pull off as you've described in your post, how come you're not doing it?

Why are you so envious of his wealth or desirous to see it confiscated away from him? Why do you suggest he "cheated" other people earning it? Do you Know this for sure? Why make that charge?

I thought you were for Freedom and pursuit of one's happiness?

Now you want to single Trump out and insist he made his Billions surreptitiously? Is that what you'd teach your students to think of his amazing economic accomplishments? His example is not something to be admired, copied, pursued?

My daddy didn't leave me millions!

Anyone with integrity is an example to follow. Just because someone is rich, that doesn't make them an example to point to for children to follow. All your love of Christ, and you don't see that?

I've pointed to garbage collectors, truck drivers, penniless soldiers, dishwashers, waiters, bankers, celebrities, journalists, botanists, conservationists, ministers, and many more as examples for my students to follow.....all because of their commitment to integrity, or their love of their fellow man, or their dedication to community.

I'd never point to someone as an example based on fame, political prowess, or financial wellbeing alone! NEVER! BIG part of what's wrong with our society right now. Sad you don't see that ATL. Sad! #swampthedrain #Trumpnews@twitter

boomer Truth be told you resent Trump strictly because of his immense wealth. You have no proof he is a crook.

How do I know this?

I've NEVER heard you criticize the Clintons for their blatant dishonesty in pursuit of their personal wealth accumulation like you've gone after Trump. Nothing Trump's done amassing his fortune even approaches the corruption or illegality the Clinton's engaged in to amass their fortune, and you've never even whispered a peep in protest.

All those folks you mentioned are fine as examples of civic service. What would you tell your students about the Clinton example of bribery, extortion, illegality, corruption, and greed all at taxpayer expense under the guise of public service that in reality was nothing more than self enrichment?

Tell me when you saw me post that Clinton (either of them) were examples of civic service, or examples for children to follow? Matter of fact I just referred to Clinton and Trump probably doing shady inside deals on the golf course in the post this replied to. You are excellent at filtering information to reaffirm your positions, brother

boomer you curiously have a sense of decency, and apparently admire certain aspects of the Christian message, yet you reject the essence of it.

I only brought up the example of the Clintons because up until that last post, I had not heard you railing against them as vociferously as you do Trump.

So, let's establish that neither have been Saints.

All of those folks by profession you mentioned as examples to be admired were not based on any personal virtues you know of them any more than you do about Trump's, but simply on your assessment of their validity in the types of work they do.

However Christians are not supposed to judge people based on class, or status, or gender, or even the work they do. We're not supposed to be jealous or envious of wealth, or status, or possessions. If you believe that also, why don't you see that aspect of Christianity and practice it too?

If someone is decent and helps people, it doesn't matter what they do. True we are not to worship someone simply because they are wealthy, but where should they be automatically condemned because of it? Are we not to judge? Doesn't that upset you when you blame others for it?

You're an interesting study to me in "situational ethics". Your sliding scales of morality, and your preference for moral relativism allow you to easily promote that which you deem to be viable, and dismiss that which you consider unviable.

There is no criterion for your assessments, only your personal likes or dislikes of whoever or whatever draws your derision.

Then amazingly, you self righteously claim "superiority" of your ethics because you deem those of your derision to be beneath you (as in the case of Trump), and you accuse others who do not see the same foibles in someone such as Trump to be inferior to you morally.

Jealousy, envy, spite, covetousness...all of these are spoken of in God's word and specifically forbidden. You called out my Love for Christ (true) trying to suggest it is secondary to my worship of Trump's wealth or promotion of him as an example to be followed. I did neither.

Then you turn around and castigate him (Trump) for whatever hard work he has accomplished on his own, in fact suggesting with no proof that all of his financial success was gained through deceit or dishonesty.

If you're going to call for or uphold a Godly standard of sacrifice and unselfishness like you did in your examples of "honest" work, take ALL of God's word and stop using it to pick and chose your self absorbed righteous indignation over what others do or how they earn their money.

There are many examples of Trump's lack of integrity in his business dealings. From not paying contractors that completed work, to driving tenets out of properties he's owned, to creating goods based solely on his name, to generating an image through manipulation of media coverage, to creating ratings or sensationalism through purposeful controversy, to seeking and preying upon financially weak members of society.....maybe Teumpnhas changed as a human being and seeks not fame, power or money in his new endeavor....it's absolutely true that I do not know. But I do know the things he's said and done in the past does not warrant hero status imo. Not at all. His treatment of women alone warrants strict criticism, imo. As a father of two daughters, I abhor his sexist words and actions.

As for my "claim of superiority of ethics", I'm proud of the man I am and the man I have been. But there are those out there that I still apologize to today for my failures to them. Jeramiah, Danny, Larry, Kristen, and Dana all have legitimate reasons to claim I am no example to follow either. None of those examples of my failures occurred beyond my 18th birthday, and since I've made mistakes but feel 100% confident in my intentions in the decisions I make in life. It is an ongoing process, that I take great pride in.

When I can't see past a persons ego, I find that person is likely subject to actions that bypass integrity in favor of personal gains. Nothing to be praised. You praise the man because he seemingly fits your political ideological goals and ambitions, but beware my brother....that man is out for himself, IMO

That's OK boomer and you've explained your positions about how you see Trump as he is. However I don't find illegality or even intentional dishonesty in anything you described of him in the previous post as reasons to dislike him.

Not saying your reasons are invalid, but what Trump has done that you don't like is not illegal (or at least he hasn't been charged with any crimes or been proven guilty of any from any of what you described)

All I'm saying boom is be consistent. It's OK to not like Trump, and even disagree with him politically. But to accuse him of being dishonest, or to suggest his wealth was gained fraudulently at the expense of others is not only inaccurate, but unfair.

Trump is a legitimately successful businessman. He also has a Family. I'm sure his kids, his business associates, and even his financial consultants have a much different view about how he amassed his wealth.

Maybe they even have better information than you?
