Trump's 'big gray cloud' means things will likely get worse before they get better

There's "a big gray cloud" over the Trump administration, said Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif. That cloud got darker on Monday.
After months of scattered media reports, FBI Director James Comey formally, publicly confirmed that the bureau is conducting a criminal investigation into Russian interference to help Trump in the 2016 presidential election and whether associates of the Trump campaign participated in that effort.

That means, just two months into his term, a new president who lost the popular vote and labors under historically low approval ratings faces real danger that things will get worse before they get better.

More importantly, Judge Nap is off the air. How will POTUS get his briefings now?

With logic like that....
I'm really surprised that so many people allow their party loyalty to overshadow some very concerning facts regarding this issue. The Russian government aggressively attempted to sway public opinion in favor of Trump (there is no doubt of this fact). All along Trump has only praised one nation and one leader abroad.....Russia. I'm not saying "collusion" or "impeachment", but I'm saying that it is AT LEAST a concern that possible financial motivations have forged a relationship between Trump and Putin that could be in direct opposition to US interests. At least SOME conservatives on this board see that possibility, and their patriotism outshines their desire to see liberals struggle. However, most on here seem willing to allow Trump carte blanche, even when serious questions arise from WITHIN the GOP. It really is weird. I guess the promise of returning the mining industry and the manufacturing economy to its former glory warrants the risk? Maybe it's the "America first" bs rhetoric? The fear? Or is it just that Trump is that "old school" alpha dog loudmouth "badass"? Whatever the reason for you....just be sure it's best for the nation to not question this man that has NEVER PROVEN TO BE OF ANY SHREAD OF INTEGRITY......EVER.

Let me know when there is some evidence that there was some financial motivation here and I will comment. This has nothing to do with party loyalty. This has everything to do with not being so naive to fall for every political trick that some politicians decide will deceive me.

I really think if it was simply a "political trick" the FBI would not still be investigating (they started the investigation in late July).

I think this speaks to why some are concerned about the Trump / Russia ties (and really Trump in general). He obviously lies very often, and saught to create as much ambiguity about his relationship with Russia (business relationship ESP) and Putin once he decided to run.....and even more so when discussions about Russian hacking increased. Remember wing nuts: THESE ARE HIS OWN WORDS!

This is exactly what I was talking about in another post moments ago... the fear that Trump will start a major war as a distraction and means of forcing his 'many enemies' in the states to back him.

"His own words"
He added that Putin is “wounded” and that “wounded people and wounded animals can do lots of strange things and we’d better be a little bit careful.”

Investigating what? The FBI Director said there is no evidence of collusion. The simple fact that every democrat is barking the same empty rhetoric 24/7 suggests it is nothing more than politics. If this were an election year I could understand but this isn't.

They have investigated Russian involvement in the US election process. No evidence of collision disclosed as of yet. But Comey confirmed Trump's campaign ties with Russian involvement in the election are still being investigated. All deep state political smokescreen bs?

CNN is fake news. Not worth the time to read it.
Ok, but it's just a timeline of Trump's comments on Russia. Each time he flip flopped, lied, and covered up his previous statements. Shows the man is a con artist. It really does....your trust in him is absolutely foolish.

There is no evidence of any votes being affected and there is no evidence of collusion. So there is an open investigation but until there is fruit from the investigation, everyone is innocent....at least in America.

Ah.....but that's a big difference from shouting about democratic political hullabaloo, isn't it?

It is completely different. It is based on our constitution and not on hormonal irrationality because you lost an election.
