Was running as a Republican instead of a Democrat...Especially with his long history with his many Democrat friends and Liberal TV connections.

He certainly would have had more loyal support from his political party. The most disappointing thing I have learned from Trump is just how horrible the GOP in general is and just how few actual conservative patriots are in politics
