At first, I was furious. I mean this nation was built on immigration and here this man wants to discriminate. Then I calmed down, listened and read his comments again. Said.....ahhh......he says "until we figure out what's going on" when saying stop Muslims from entering the country.....I could almost agree with a temporary ban.

However, when I hear those pundits shooting off about how Trump is right and we should do this....and these pundits are the SAME ONES who did not support the Democrats approach of "terror watch list' people not being able to get a gun legally.....I became furious again. Do these people even think before they speak?

How do you prove that someone is or isn't Muslim?

You may not know it but there was almost no immigration between 1925-1965. Also, there is law written by Democrats and signed by Clinton that allows for the suspension of immigration. 1992 I believe.

So, the 178,000 average per year during that time span you stated is "almost no immigration"? You been watching too much Fox?

Trump said just ask them and if they are, don't let them in. Problem solved. Next.
I guess the terorrist bride answered these questions correctly because she got in...she answered no to both...and in she came.

"Do you seek to engage in terrorist activities while in the United States or have you ever engaged in terrorist activities?"
"Have you ever or do you intend to provide financial assistance or other support to terrorists or terrorist organizations?"

Unless you were from Northwestern Europe or a former US possession.

The 1925 law was to keep those Southern and Eastern Europeans from polluting our shores along with those crazed Asians who were hell bound to overwhelm us. The latter were known as the "Yellow Peril" in the drumbeat to pass those immigration laws on the West Coast.

The first was mainly aimed at Europeans who didn't look quite White enough and those pesky Jews. We weren't allowing Jews in unless they were connected and rich even after we knew what Hitler was up to in Europe.

Yup, that's an example to follow.

Most of the backlash against Obama's comments were that people on the "no fly" list be banned from purchasing guns. A lot of people on that list have no business on that list.

There is already a terror watch list that is part of the current background check.

And how may Muslims would be put on the list that shouldn't be on the list? That's the point. Can't have it both ways. Keep guns, but ban immigration, by relying on government investigations.

Yes I looked it up, 142,000. It was 20% of what it use to be. Too much right now, one way or the other. Limited all areas of the world. Unfettered immigration has ruined Europe.
