Maybe he should stop reading press clippings and actually perform consistently on the court before he begins the process of checking out the NBA. Tired of these big ego...me too guys...getting scholarships and planning their escape from the classroom before they even are anywhere close.

College is the time to begin exploring your life options. How is this anything but common sense?

No different than what any other student does, while in school. Or do you also look down upon students who pursue internships or prepare for entrance exams to graduate programs before finishing the undergrad?

I hope he comes back but can you blame him? To much money involved not to test the market.

He will receive an evaluation on where he stands in the draft. Critical feedback will not be available. Workouts and combine for teams will not be happening.

Oscar will be returning as he is only trying to see where he stands. And with no in house evaluations I would say he won't like where he stands so far in the draft.

I can't remember the guy's name but he was a 2/3 for Calipari in the last "HS to the NBA" period at Memphis few years back. Excellent ball handler that could fake you out of your shoes. He had a little growth spurt late in the season and into NCAA tourney. The cartilage in his knee was catching up with his size. He never got that move back. He played two or three seasons in the NBA and that was that.

I'd never tell a 6'7" left-handed HS pitcher with cannon for an arm, "Give it the summer". That's a gift from on High. Get the money while you can, you can always go back to college

Thing is. Huggins tells them if you think you have a shot go get evaluated and see. There is no evaluating it's only a shot in the dark to see where you go in the draft. If he gets a first round offer then more power to him go get it.

Hard to give a 100% to the name on your jersey when your eyes are looking somewhere else.

No it isn't.

These are all young men. They all have futures somewhere. That is what college is for.

Do you also have issues with high school players who are being recruited to play in college? I mean, all those HS players have their eyes looking to the elsewhere.

Wow that's deep thought there LittleDarthy. Not what college is for...and particularly when you are going to school in a foreign country on the tax earnings of hard working men and women. Of course my opinion means nothing to the self indulged and over protected panic room and teddy bear types. Right lLittleDarthy?

Yes, that is exactly what college is for....to prepare and plan for your future.

The guy who is literally panicked to the point he said he is fine sacrificing his Constitutional rights so he doesnt get sick probably shouldnt pound his chest, your act was exposed. You can put your fake tough guy suit back in the closet. It doesnt fit you anymore.

So how many days did you stay? Just curious/

All 4 years...then hung around for a summer drinking all the beer on High St.

The day I left Morgantown for good, I only took my laptop and a duffle bag of clothes. Didn't want to deal with moving all my crap and honestly that's all it was - crap.
