Glass, I'm not saying they have. Our FT shooting has been brutal and that is the reason this game is in OT. But they have been inconsistently bad. Collins carries the ball on every crossover...not called and it is actually creating an advantage for him.

Refs had no effect, we played bad but still won. We could have won by 15+ in regulation by shooting 33% from 3 and 66% from the line.

Assists and rebounding saved the day. Whew!

This was solid for the finish. USF has 3 really good players and today they shot lights out even when the defense was much better in the 2nd half. We need to hit the 3s to start the game to get the defense out of those junk zones early. Swannegan...my player of the game for the 2nd game straight. I know Smith had a great game but Swannegan owned the paint in both ends of the floor. Haith may need to start thinking of starting Swannegan and bringing Dre off the bench. The focus and urgency the last 5 minutes of the game and OT was outstanding.

Swannegan with 12pts, 15rbs(9 offensive), 5blks. Smith 21 pts(2 huge 3s). They won the game.

Difference between Swannegan this year from last is he still plays with that fire and energy that he always has but he is so much more in control from what he was. It is actually a lift for TU now.

Gutsy performance from unexpected folks. Haith needs to get a spiritual healer into our locker room to help w free throws

Juice was less than 50%, Shaq was about 25%, Swannegan didn't hit his 2 (only negative is Swanny's game today). Goal should be 70% every game. We do that in regulation we win by 6 without OT.

Why didn't USF shoot this well against SMU the other day?

OH...AND PROPS TO FRANK HAITH FOR FOULING WITH 2.7 LEFT! Foul to give foul well away from the basket and make them run a catch and shoot play. We've played well and he got a full cupboard when he got here but he is probably not getting the amount of credit he deserves.

His hands have gotten exponentially stronger since we started conference play. He rarely loses bullet passes or contested rebounds anymore. He traded turnoversfor finishes.

He owned #15 today who must have 40 lbs on him.

The bench is becoming more important now that the starters are getting worn down and more tired as games go on . Tulsa will need the bench players more and more as the season goes on. Get used to it! The starters are getting wore out also. That is showing in less defensive production and poor shooting from FT's and the Arc. The starters need more breaks and more often. A good solid bye week would be perfect for some guys to get healthier, just don't know if Tulsa has that luxury in the near future. Checking the schedule TU has a break after the next three games. After UCONN, Tulsa could use that break right now

Tulsa needs bench production. The rotation is what it is. Why would we change it after 11 straight?

Wright didn't play well today but I have seen more out of him the last couple of weeks.

His offensive board and two free throws sealed the win at ECU.

Plus Wright has the talent/ability to score 20 and grab 10 boards night in, night out. Swanigan was a star tonight, but Dre has a lot more upside.
