Tulsa at Rice Game Thread

[Gmoney4WW]

Brown is hurting likely.

[TulsaAM]

Look, and offensive adjustment works.... for Rice

[TulsaAM]

Now the Rice QB is hurt again with an ankle...

[TU1NNJ]

Looks like a high ankle injury

[TU1NNJ]

Need to get a TD on this possession

[TulsaAM]

Touchdown TU!

[TU 1978]

Nice drive and TD!

[TulsaRising1]

That’s a Golden Hurricane touchdown !

[TulsaAM]

Missed the PAT, so I am not breathing yet

[TulsaRising1]

Followed by a missed PAT lol
Can’t make this up

[Tulsafanzz]

Great TD drive! TU has scored the last 23 points in this game. Let’s keep it up TU defense!

[TU 1978]

Nice stop on 4th down for Rice

[drboobay]

Sorry but you only get one missed PAT per season in my book.

Have to criticize.

[TU1NNJ]

Protect the ball and get 1st downs

[TU1NNJ]

TD TU!!!!

[TulsaAM]

Touchdown TU!

[Gmoney4WW]

No on the 2 pt conversion, regardless of whether we make it

[TulsaAM]

Hayes runs it in for 2

[Tulsafanzz]

Make that 31 straight points!

[TU 1978]

2 point conversion and kept Baylor in for it.

[loudmouth]

Glad they came back. Happy for TU.

Rice sucks.

[TulsaAM]

I am so glad Rice remembered who they were late in the first half... I thought we were going to have to break out the "save the coach's job red uniforms" again!

[TU Pilot]

Is that the first of 10 2pt conversion attempts in Lamb's tenure here?

[TU Pilot]

*1st successful

[drboobay]

*1st successful

Finally a situation where I agreed with him!

[drboobay]

Turning point seemed to be their QB injury.

[TU1NNJ]

Turning point seemed to be their QB injury.

Brown can run but cannot pass. Have to scheme accordingly. Injury impacted his running.

Seems like I remember somebody commenting on that around when that happened.

Probably. I am trying to make sure 3 teenagers get safely to a concert so cannot follow every word here.

No penalty on your comment, just patting myself on the back. Arm is broken.

[TUTim]

I'm pretty sure that's the game I proposed to the wife at. Either way, every time I see someone down for a while, that's where my mind goes.

Yeah that was a terrible day. Not the proposal part.

[TU Pilot]

Lol, correct

In the third quarter the camera panned a shot of the crowd. In a section with maybe 20 people they focused of 2 young men likely in their early 20s but about 5 rows behind them was a kid maybe 10 years old with a women next to him (probably his Mom). Most ten year olds would be focused on the game or mugging for the camera. This kid was reading a book. It just hit me as such a Rice fans kid thing to do.

Probably rereading 'A Brief History of Rice Fan'.
