Turning point for me

When we were up 59-58 and Beran had the 1 and 1. He bricked it and they went down and scored, then he airballed a 3 the next possession. That sequence I felt was when we kind of blinked and Michigan took over from there. Sure we clawed back and had some other chances but that really felt like the swing from a point where we could've gotten some momentum and control into the home stretch, instead it went the other way and they pretty much controlled it from there.

But I will add Beran played a good game overall and without him we don't even have a chance today.

That’s exactly when I posted in the game thread. I thought exactly the same thing at that moment.

The turning point for me was when our players got in foul trouble in the first half. That really dashed our momentum. I saw Nicholson go flying out of bounds underneath the basket a couple of times with Dickinson ending up with the rebound. Wonder how that happened.

MN drew a couple of foul calls on Michigan at the start of the second half, and then soon afterwards, he had a good box out on Dickerson but got shoved out of bounds going for the rebound, with no call. It's like the refs decided to swallow their whistles at that point.

Need the bench to back our boys! OSU was playing rugged with the lead and fouled a Rutgers' player on a defensive rebound. No call. Pikiell went ballistic and got T'ed Up. Seemed like a subtle turning point. It sure changed the perspective of the referees. In a game like this Michigan game, where it seemed they were calling fouls on reputation, the refs need to be reminded that a foul is a foul, no matter who commits it!!!
