Overcame a real bad home cooking call and still won - lesser teams would have lost that game.

Hoping this is a turning point in the season for the Cards.

Looked like the sideline was really into it, the entire team - just much more focus and effort out there on both sides of the ball.

I hope so too. Lots to play for still.

I imagine if you had a team that was 0-10 and you let Lamar take charge of it, he would believe that they would win every time.

His fortitude finally seemed to affect the whole team this week.

Congrats Cards.

They get up for FSU.

Lots of Florida guys on this team.

What will they do @ Wake next week ?

Good win. Still need better play by the defense and O-line.
Absolutely true. Next week is another test against a physical and motivated team on the road.

Pro teams don’t like 2 tough road games in a row. Win at Wake next week would speak volumes about this team.

Honestly think the O-line has played way better the past 2 games.

Not to be a wet blanket but...

FSU is about as offensively challenged a team as we’re gonna see this year - hard to tell much about the defense against that limited an offense. I was encouraged however that they were not able to physically dominate in the running game the way BC did.

If their frosh qb doesn’t hand us the ball on a complete unforced error - we lose that game. There is good luck too - and we sure were due.

Sometimes things get so depressing and you get so beat down you just say “F it, I don’t care about the rankings, the record or anything- I’m gonna go win a football game.” I think the cards reached that point this week. Let’s hope they feed off that anger the rest of the year. This can work to bring the whole team together. We still have a chance to go 9-3.

That's understood - but from an effort perspective and focus, it can't be denied what was seen today is not what was seen last week when watching our defense.
