This sucks. But from the limited stuff I’ve read, it seems like the band is looking out for him more than they are just pissed at him for messing up a good thing. Seems like genuine caring (again, from what little I know), which is nice if true. Hope he gets what he needs for long term health (and, secondarily, that it happens in time for me to use my tickets for late this summer).

He’s an addict and addicts do douchebag things.

You can’t find many people that don’t like him though. The outpouring of support from his contemporaries has been almost universal. People that new him before they hit say he was a truly great guy.

Hoping like hell he figures it out.

Haven’t heard anything. Ryan Engleman is playing with reckless. RC is busy with his side project - RC and the ambers. Nix has been guesting with several bands as has Hank Early.
