So I just got a new sound bar.

My old one I had to adjust the treble and bass to my liking.

This new one has a sound effect option.

Standard, music, clear voice, sports, movie, and night mode.

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to this stuff, but that means I just pick one of those for what I'm watching and it does the work for me right?

Real answer:

Those are presets, and each one changes a plethora of settings that go deeper than treble and bass. They are pretty spot on, and if you consider yourself a novice, you'll be fine using them.

However, I find it hard to believe you can't dive deeper into the settings. Presets again are just adjusting other settings.. which means theoretically, those settings can be user-adjusted somewhere. Play around with it, google and what not.

A long time ago I thought my sub broke. Racked my brain for days. Googled it, and learned that "Crossover" is just the frequency(number) that your bass starts to play. You need to adjust the crossover so your subwoofer knows when to go to work.

Home Theater isn't rocket science. You can learn it in an afternoon.. and you should. Gay porn sounds so much better..

..wait. I mean straight porn.

All I know is the 100 on the sound bar is louder than the 100 on the TV speakers.

I've never had one. I prefer a surround sound system. They have similar settings as the ones you mentioned (mine actually has a bunch more) and it is just a simple equalizer to automatically adjust the sound to each preset. I prefer manual settings, but I doubt soundbars come with the means to do that. You just select which setting sounds best to you and it takes care of it for you. It will adjust the bass, mid, and treble levels for each one.

Pick whichever setting you like.

If you like the setting that matches with the content you're watching, great, but it doesn't have to be that way.

If you pick one setting for everything you watch, that's fine too.

I had to google "sound bar". I don't understand it. Music sounds come out of that paper weight looking thing? Or is it some amp for real speakers?

Can't open a new help ticket until the last one is closed. What's going on with the golf ball display case?

Project is still on going.

One of you ******** outbid me on eBay for sure.
