I think the kid is doing it.
I didn't see why, instead of building a wall in the curve of the road, they didn't just build a wall behind the two semis? It would be a fraction of the work. Once the semi fell just have it so they hit the wall and go right back down to the bottom of the quarry.
I saw a review that was mentioning the horn blower as being father Gabriel and linked it to biblical history with Gabriel blowing the horn. But as to why, maybe a warning that the wolfs were attacking Alexandria?
Thought the same thing. But the biblical Gabriel blew the horn and the walls of Jericho came down. I don't think warning Rick of a wolf attack is the goal if it is indeed Gabriel who they made a point of getting slapped down when he asked to help.
Dunno about Carl but that was fvcking bad ***.
No traitor. They got the pics from the recruiter guy and Darryl when they were caught in the wolves trap at the food warehouse.
The A is Pete's kid stamping A for Alexandria. Probably just pure coincidence that it was stamped on the post.
@MegaPoke
Wondering the same thing about The Wolves. Haven't read the comics, so maybe those who have know what the Wolves motivation is.
I do think it is a bit strange that they have no guns. They have obviously been catching people to use in their trap that Aaron/Darryl were caught in. Surely most people who managed to survive for so long would be armed.
I am wondering if the Wolves have a leader that we have not seen yet. I thought the last guy (who Morgan, I think, killed in the house) was their leader. I suspect that they will be back at the end of the season because Rick and company can't stay in Alexandria forever. It seems likely that the Wolves will return, kill off a lot of the fringe characters, and take down the walls around the neighborhood, forcing the group back out on the road. It would make sense for the writers to reveal a Wolves leader and his motivation for preventing Alexandria from remaining a place of relative safety.
refresh my memory who the JSS girl was again?
Yep, I had forgotten about him leaving the backpack behind. (I thought it looked familiar)
Are we certain that Gabriel didn't use his guns? There were sounds of firearms going off in the background, when Carol was on screen, so it couldn't have been her. We know Carl and a few others had firearms and were using them, but I'm not certain that we know the identity of all those who fought back and squeezed off a few rounds.
I was sort of pessimistic that after all the violence was over and the wolves dispatched, that someone was going to make the fatal mistake of approaching the armory, where Carol had left a shaky and scared guard with instructions to "shoot anyone who comes through that door." I thought for certain that some innocent was going to open that door and get blasted.
I have never read the comic books, (excuse me: Graphic Novels), but when Morgan said to the group of Wolves he let go, he said something to them along the lines of "you don't have to choose that sort of life" and the main guy in that group responds with something along the lines of: "who said we have a choice?" (paraphrasing from memory, but the gist is the same) That would seem to indicate to me that something, or someone, is putting at least some of them up to this and they have no or little choice. I notice that he had picked up a revolver with at least a round or two in it and didn't shoot Morgan, that would indicate that he's not completely on-board with things. Others in the group did appear to be completely immersed and "true believers" but we don't know quite yet what they believe.
I didn't read the spoiler, but we do know that several times now the series has varied widely from the comic story-line, so it's possible it means everything and possible it means nothing.
I'm not sure that was a gun. I noticed it too, but you could only see the handle, which seemed to be curved in an odd way, not like any modern gun. It looked like it could have been a handle to small saw - like a wooden handle pruning saw. Just not real sure....
I'm sure most caught it, but Morgan is back to reality as he's packing a pistol when he passes Carol at the end of the episode. You can't have any mercy to the wolves as they will you and anyone you care about without concern for anything else. You have to put them down, just as sure as you have to put down walkers.
...
5). There is no spoiler up above. Nothing different than this thread. Just me speculating as to what we will see in the upcoming episode.
That doesn't make sense about Enid being a wolf. That would mean they knew about Alexandria prior to Rick's arrival. But they didn't find out about it until finding Aaron's backpack.
