I agree.

It’s given every idiot a platform and fostered the fallacy that all opinions are equally valid.

Doesn’t matter the side of the aisle, but there’s so much misinformation, disinformation and outright ******** floating around that neither “side” is rooted in reality. One promotes ideology through emotional appeals (bleeding hearts), the other uses fear (something is being taken from us).

Reading the news of the day has been replaced with scrolling through memes and believing they’re all factual.
Yeah right. There's no reason for fear. These incompetent, radical democrats in charge have everything moving in the right direction.

Blah, blah, blah angry conservative mad at things. Red team good, blue team bad.

Echo chamber comfortable. Differing opinions must be dog piled and silenced - that goes both ways

If you can’t see American politics are different sides of the same ****** coin, that’s on you. Both sides have corporate-funded propaganda arms. Both sides lie or at best present half truths. Both sides prey on the perceived emotional vulnerabilities of their respective bases (emotional appeal/naivety vs fear/anger). Both sides serve lobbyists and special interests groups more than constituents who elected them. Politicians on both sides laugh all the way to the bank at partisan bickering among us peasants.

Both sides of the establishment are playing us, yes, duh, of course. But you conveniently leave out that we had a non-establishment president who was actually working for the good of the American people. That is the MAGA movement and it is hated by both sides of the establishment. You voted against it, voted for Biden, and now you're throwing up your hands like it didn't matter. BS. You own this ****.

And how much has either bolstered democracy? They give extremists a larger voice than they actually have and have really hurt the social fabric of America.

And there you go with a wack, partisan take that has almost nothing to do with anything.

Exactly. There was nothing political about your post, but that didn’t stop this team red fanatic from interpreting it how he wanted and spewing barf all over the thread.
People who are comfortable in their ideology are going to be in for a rude awakening when they finally realize they’ve been had. We are under attack by corporations and the wealthy (have been for years, in my opinion), and either you’ll come to that realization now or when you have no choice but to realize it.
