BP and Otis on line one...
Bama will do everything possible to sweep all this under the rug. A 6.1 5 star player out of Louisana. Was the 3rd ranked player in the state that year, just shows you how much talent that state produces.
That's industrial strength stupid.Cam Robinson and Hoosier Jones arrested in Louisiana on drug and stolen weapons charges. Sounds bad.
Kind of like Eddie Williams (5-star), Brent Calloway (barely missed being a 5-star), and Tyren Jones (would be our starter at RB this fall) just to name a few, right?
That being said, I don't think either of them should be on the team this fall.

Pretty sure Louisiana has a 5 year minimum on the gun with narcotics and a 3? Year on the stolen gun.
This guy ain't playing for Bama this year.
And there is absolutely no reason UK fans should trash alabama.. they are in football what we are to basketball .. and we all know the BS thst other fans say about us. Why be lIke them?
This is PE's mo...as long as he helps you win, right PE? I honestly don't know where his madness would end it comes this stuff. What are you trying to do, soften us up for his commitment? You don't have to start defending him yet, jurich is probably still trying to reach him.
Sounds pretty serious, he is probably still busy talking to Bama's defense lawyer.
Oh I don't know.
Maybe because all the BS that they say about our bb program (football too) is just that, BS?
Young men get into trouble everywhere, the difference is in how it is handled at programs like UL, TU, Auburn, etc.
Is there a specific incident or multiple you are talking about? At alabama.. you donot have to sell me on ewetee[smoke]

Just pointing out at the end of the day Cam Robinson will be alright...just like Robert Nkemdiche and Laramy Tunsil are after their issues at Ole Miss....this time next year Cam Robinson is going to be a rich man walking across the stage shaking Roger Goodell hand...it is what it is....
While Tunsil apparently spent his 3 years at OM taking cash, it isn't a crime, he wasn't arrested for asking and apparently receiving money from OM coaches. Robinson and the other kid were found with a stash of pot, apparently more than personal use, then there is the stolen gun. Its not even apples to oranges comparison, it more like apples to dogs.
Cam Robinson will be playing this fall in Tusculoosa or taking the year off preparing for the 2017 NFL Draft...it is either or with him...no reason to play or transfer to another school
Exactly no way this guy transfer to another school. Either he plays for Bama and gets ready for the draft. Regardless he will be in the NFL 365 days from now. Now if he was a true freshman it would be a different story, but even then I still think he would stay at Alabama.
Might be a shot the two could do some time. ..Also Tunsil beat up his step father...got caught on draft night with a bong and a gas mask...not even going to what was going on with Nkemdiche in that hotel room in Atlanta...point being in the end they still ended up being millionaires...same going to happen with Robinson...this time next year he will be just fine...

I'm all for second chances (depending on the situation), but IMO there is just no excuse for this, particularly for Robinson. Arguably the best lineman in the country, on the best program in the country, quality student, and he would've been a top 5-10 pick in the 2017 draft. We all make stupid decisions, but this is just...wow.

Since this happened in the State of Louisiana I am not sure the local authorities are going to worry about Saban and his problems. They belong to the Louisiana justice system now so Bama better pray Louisiana sends these boys back in time for football season. I would not hold my breath.
That thought entered my mind too, both of them left Louisiana to play for Bama. They better hope their judge and DA aren't LSU alumni boosters or they could delay this thing until after the season. I am not 100% but I don't think a kid can play with a felony hanging on him. This didn't happen in Alabama where it would already be reduced, Louisiana people weren't happy when he left the state for Bama in the first place.
Saban on the situation from NFL.com
Alabama coach Nick Saban discussed on Wednesday his philosophy regarding discipline for his players and, specifically, the arrest of star left tackle Cam Robinson. Robinson was arrested Tuesday morning for felony possession of a stolen firearm and misdemeanor possession of a controlled dangerous substance, as well as a charge of illegally carrying a weapon in the presence of narcotics.

While attending the Regions Tradition Pro-Am golf tournament on Wednesday, Saban said the school remains in the fact-gathering stage.
"What everybody has to ask, like you would with your own children, is the guy better off with us, with the structure and direction he's going to get, and the opportunities he can take advantage of and be someone other people can emulate with his leadership, or are we better off throwing him out with the bath water?" Saban said on the Paul Finebaum Show.

I read a few posts from LSU fans in a thread on the other site and according to them the DA's in the state aren't really connected to LSU. They could be wrong, though. Regardless, I don't think it should matter. Provided that all of the information that was reported is correct, I wouldn't keep them on the team. Then again, it's not up to me, but I'd be disappointed if Saban kept them both on the team.

Basically what I figured Saban is going to keep him.
Refreshing, thanks, but you do have the advantage of Bama being able to dismiss TWO five stars and instead of having three times the talent of most teams they would only have twice as much------LOL.
You would never see a post like this from a Transfer U or Thug U fan, all their fans that had any scruples abandoned those programs long ago.
Basically what I figured Saban is going to keep him.
And BP and TJ would do what differently?Basically what I figured Saban is going to keep him.
