Not attacking you OP, but I don’t see any reason JF would entertain coming here. I’m not one of these “well who are we gonna get?” folks, but I think JF will have his choice of jobs……and this one has to be well down the list. Unless he just wants to sit back and enjoy that buyout . Granted, I never would have thought Spurrier would come here, but he just saw us as a challenge.

I gotta agree. I don’t want any of our talent to leave, but for their sakes……

Spurrier wanted to get back into college football and he wanted to go somewhere that hadn't won. Franklin is nowhere near the same situation. I agree in terms of being surprised that he came here, but the situations are way different. We need to find our Clark Lea. Not sure who it is, but that's what we need.

The program itself is a hugely profitable. If its measured in wins and losses, its a disaster. The university, although I do think they care if we are successful on the field, could not fund athletics without football. The people wasting money are the fans.but they keep spending.
