Two free tickets to Duke/Virginia game

Hey all,

Well, this winter storm about to hit the north east has basically ended my plans of taking my son to his first Duke game... and we had such good times planned out, from riding the campus bus together to getting takeout in our hotel room Friday night and renting Rogue One:(

But I really don’t want these tickets to just sit here, so is there anyone here who wants them? Oh, and parking pass included.

Two catches:

First, I have to overnight them to you tomorrow, which means they will arrive Saturday. I would hope they will arrive in time, but it might only work out for someone who is within reasonable driving distance of Cameron in case they get there later in the day.

Second, if you’d pay for the overnight shipping, that would be great.

Anyway... I was going to just wait and see, last minute, if the storm might not be so bad, but it really looks like it will be and I think it is much better karma to get the tickets to a fan who will get to really love the experience.

Wow, I've been trying to take my wife to her first ever Duke game in Cameron and have been having no luck with timing or things falling thru. I live in Rocky Mount, only 75 miles or so from Duke. My only issue is I've gotta make sure I'm not working Saturday and I'll find that out in just a few minutes when I arrive.

Also, I hope they would get here in time to make it for the 6pm tip? I know you don't know me, but figured I'd respond since I've been looking so hard to take the wife.

I'm really sorry you can't take your son to his first :( Lemme know if you still have em.

Yeah I saw your thread and that sucks, nothing better gab going to a game with your boy. I’ll grab them if no one else wants to.

Hey, okay, you were the first person to respond... shoot me an email... [email protected] Lemme know if you are working or not. I don't know if they will get there in time, but I assume they would if they get overnightted (?) properly.

If he ends up not wanting them, Pixel, you are next up.

Hey, if nobody is able to take them I would love to have them to take my son to the game! If already taken i understand... I live between Winston and Boone so about 2 1/2 hour drive for us

We went to an Orioles game a couple of years ago without having the tickets. Our friend took pictures of the barcode and we were able to get in by having them scan our phones. Might want to send him pics just in case they don't make it there.

So sorry to hear about this Dude. I could tell how excited you were to go to the game with your son. Very nice thing you are doing by offering them up to someone else. I firmly believe in karma. It will come back to you and your son.

Got it, wrote back. One thing... the weather report was saying 8-12 inches of snow this AM, and now they are saying 1-3. If it stays that way, I might end up trying to get down there. I emailed you; we can keep in touch there. Sorry... everything is just so up in the air:(

Does Duke have a ticket transfer? Just thinking there has gotta be a way outside of overnight worries this day and age. I know Wisconsin has one- very slick for situations like this

They do but I believe you have to be a season ticket holder or have proof you purchased them through the Duke Ticket Office.
