The bigger issue is why, on 2nd and 9 and 3rd and 9 from the 26 with 2 minutes left in the game, they took 2 shots into the end zone when they had easy underneath stuff wide open.

I knew the second he missed that kick that he would be in the news (for this) in the coming days. Sad, sad indictment on today's society (and social media). And yes, he missed the kick, but as in most situations like that, the REST OF THE TEAM had 59min to otherwise make the outcome different and failed to do it.

The 2nd and 9 play was there. Allen missed it BADLY. That’s a throw 32 NFL QBs make. That’s unacceptable. So I don’t blame him for that at all. I think they knew they were going to kick on 4th down anyway. So why check down for 5 yards on 3rd? They were playing for the lead, which is smart given Mahomes history of last minute comebacks.

Two Words- Mecole Hardman. I live in Kansas City and am an adopted fan and life is good now.
Hardman has done a lot of great things for KC, most of them back when we had Tyrek Hill pulling double coverage leaving him open. And he is Fast.
But he weighs 169lbs. He fumbled earlier in the game on a run play, fortunately recovered by a Chief. I said to my wife please "don't run him inside on this team because they are physical". Low and behold on the goal line to go up 10 he fumbles through the back of the end zone. That was a 7-point swing, not 3. Bass should see that and take solace.
