This has become a common theme with William’s teams. Fourth quarter collapse, can’t get the ball in bounds and force passes for turnovers. She needs to learn, she let this team down today.

I don’t watch much WBB but they did make tourney… Again I don’t know enough to say expectations are something like sweet 16 or better. N probably doesn’t spend even close to say a UConn or Texas.

She seemed way too focused on screaming at the officials in the 4th quarter instead of calming her team down. They made some absolutely brain-dead plays down the stretch.

Getting Potts back next year is going to be huge. They should be a 20+ win team next year if they can maintain their roster and recruits. Yes, there are tiers to WBB and they are nowhere close to top tier, which includes SCAR, UCLA, UCONN. Many people claim they don't care about WBB, but having coached, I do. There is plenty of great talent instate and nearby. Say what you want about Amy, there's no one out there who will be able to do better in the next couple of years. Now its about roster retention, and next year has a chance to be a tier 2 type team that can knockoff a top 10 opponent.

Womens basketball fever, CATCH IT!!
I always find it ridiculous that WBB catches so much **** when it could easily become as popular as VB. With a retained roster and current recruits, they could be really good next year. NU fans could support their WBB team at least as well as Iowuh does. Prince will be on the watchlist for NPOY, and the program will have a chance to turn a profit. I know you're being sarcastic, but next season, people should get behind this program.

They got homered by the officials, it was a one point game there was a tie up Baylor coach wanted a review and Nebraska was charged with a flagrant foul so Baylor get two shots and the ball
When a held ball has been called and the whistle has blown 15 times, grabbing the other player by the arm and pulling her to the floor is usually a bad idea.

Good Lord.

"Typical Williams"...I had NO idea that the coaches name was Williams let alone what kind of "typical" coaching job she does...

And then people complaining that the refs were against NU? What kind of ******* loser do you have to be to care about which womens team wins when you are the ref???

Fans will start supporting them when they win. It’s the Nebraska way.

I didn't watch the first 3q, but the 4th q was pretty wild. Baylor full court pressed and was just mauling our entire team. Now maybe thats how the game was called the entire time, but I doubt it, because we would have had zero chance to have the lead if thats how the game was played. Just a gigantic size and athleticism difference between the two teams.

The flagrant foul was a good call. Pretty clear nebraska was frustrated by that point.

Prince definitely needs more help. She's a hell of a player.

After the scandal, it's nothing short of amazing she's still employed!

You should have seen the wide open layup baylor missed. She shot it so hard the ball didn't even come close to hitting the rim off the backboard. They showed a female baylor fan who was laughing like a hyena after the play. Absolutely made my day.
I saw a Nebraska men’s player miss a dunk yesterday 🤷‍♂️

I was going according to what Nebraska radio was saying, my point is how often is that called? I’ve seen players thrown to the ground and no call. And it came at a critical time if the foul occurred in the second period not a big deal loo

You didn’t even see the play, and yet you’ve convinced yourself it was a terrible homer call?

Yes! Are you a bb official? You sure post like your one. each group of officials call games their way there is no consistency. Another group of officials wouldn’t have made the call.

With every post, you sound like an even more brainless goober.

Complaining about a call you haven't even seen, then bawling because someone points out how idiotic it is.

Huskers looked tired in the 4th quarter, Williams needs to teach them how to inbound the ball (they blew the Michigan State game by not being able to get the ball in, so it is not anything new) and I think it was a BS call on Petrie with 3 minutes to go. I thought a foul could have been called on the Baylor player just as easily.

I only watch WVB in the NCAA tourney. And, I don't necessarily watch them solely on their athletic performance. Sorry. I'm a man, and women's basketball is just a bunch of man-women out there, for the most part. Hell, the WNBA is 90% ugly lesbos.

They need a decent point guard. Hake is inconsistent and Kennadi is too small and too slow. I hope Potts is healthy next season. Prince, Hardgrove, Potts and the freshman recruit from Wagner, SD should be a good group to build around. I would have Bozan doing George Mikan drills all summer and I know Nissley has been hurt with leg problems, but I would try to get her to lose about 5-10 pounds and send her to a speed coach. She is a good shooter, but she can't guard very well. Years ago, I had a friend whose son was baseball crazy. The son was doing ok at the high school level but getting no interest from colleges. My friend had lots of connections and somehow, he got a Mariner scout to evaluate his son. The scout recommended a hitting coach which they hired, but who they really thought made the biggest improvement is the scout also suggested a speed coach. They thought he really helped the son get quicker. He ended up playing 4 years for Cal Lutheran.

You weren’t part of history just an old man yelling at clouds. Time for apple sauce and bedtime loser
At the time you posted this at 10:44 I had been in bed for an hour already and that’s way too late for apple sauce.
basketball still sucks but I’m glad I witnessed our historic achievement that literally every other power conference team had already achieved.

Potts' slow recovery and the decommitment of the high scoring recruit from UT that ended up at BYU were pretty big hits to the roster this year

Folks are way to worked up over girls basketball, sheesh.

Years ago I fell in love with a girl that played bb at CSU, we got married, then divorced. Even then I could not get excited about womens basketball. She was tall, slender, and very attractive to my eye, and this was before it was taken over by mostly uggos, but girls basketball is b o r i n g
