Can't imagine Prince enjoyed this season.

Portal???

Why is even the slightest bit of any sort of adversity or non-perfection result in considering the transfer portal?

Prince is a home-grown talent and the focal point of the team. Maybe she likes her teammates, coaches, and playing in front of family and friends?

Maybe she wants to be surrounded by better players and go deep into the post season?

Honestly don't know.

I only watch WVB in the NCAA tourney. And, I don't necessarily watch them solely on their athletic performance. Sorry. I'm a man, and women's basketball is just a bunch of man-women out there, for the most part. Hell, the WNBA is 90% ugly lesbos.
lol…just 90??

Folks are way to worked up over girls basketball, sheesh.

Years ago I fell in love with a girl that played bb at CSU, we got married, then divorced. Even then I could not get excited about womens basketball. She was tall, slender, and very attractive to my eye, and this was before it was taken over by mostly uggos, but girls basketball is b o r i n g

It really is not a good sport. And I like softball and volleyball quite a bit.

Last year when I said Williams and Revelle weren’t good coach I got hammered
We would be hard pressed to find a better fit and coach than Williams. I don’t care about Revelle. We lost maybe our best player to an injury and still made the tournament.

I can only speak for myself after watching HS girls BB when my daughter played and when I was a Principal/AD. My wife went to most games when I was an administrator and she always brought a book along and people would ask how she could bring a book to a game. Me, I just like to watch competition and team success. Your take on women's sports is only made in comparison to men's which could easily turn into a political debate.

When my daughter was playing HS ball they had open gym at the field house on Sundays. A bunch of us guys and ladies would divide up and play each other. Her HS coach was a lady who played ball at Fort Hays and she didn't appear to be overly athletic but boy howdy, she was and warned me that women can put their butts to good use under the boards, she was right. She boxed out harder than any guy I played against. So I respect great effort and results. The results for Nebraska's women are mixed but worse than that, they are consistent.

I think that has been said of a lot of our coaches over the years, some are gone, others on the hot seat. My original point is that we commit the same errors and lose games the same way and either unable or unwilling to correct. We had an 11 point lead and blow it, couldn't get the ball out of bounds for crying out loud. Unfortunately this is a common occurrence with her teams.

How do you know we would be hard pressed? I am not advocating her dismissal, but as much heat as Rhule gets for making the same blunders in his game management, there is plenty to go around.

Edit: I just came across this. The stats are telling. https://cornhuskerswire.usatoday.co...cOAcmIOEN1LyvJsbFP_aem_4xXQ5AzyxWs-l6nfGlcGHA

At least we have a men’s sports team worth a damn this year. Women’s basketball and Volleyball have been carrying the AD for a decade at this point.

I played at noons 3x/week with a bunch of guys most of whom played in college until I as 40. 3 of them played professionally. 2 got a cup of coffee in the NBA. The hardest hit I took was from a 6’5” woman who was an All American at CU and played professionally in Europe. She chinned a rebound and swung around to outlet the ball and caught me with an elbow on the jaw. Ouch. That girl could play. Damn I miss playing.

Why is Kylee Phaben from Omaha going to Minnesota? I do not understand why the best player from Nebraska is going out-of-state. Is Minnesota paying more NIL money for her services?

Isn’t Nebraska bringing in a 4 and 5 star next yr.? Being the best girls player in Nebraska isn’t an automatic success.

Sad to say I had to do an Internet search to even know who she was, and I try to keep up on HS sports in Nebraska. Everyone knew who Britt Prince was.
