Geez....Doesn't have anything at all to do with being white? The overwhelming majority of the great heavyweight boxers are African American. But go ahead and play the race card if you want to. How ridiculous.
Wearing a shirt with your name on it is a power moveNot for nothing, but a few months ago I was waiting outside my hotel in downtown Atlanta for an Uber and I ran into Evander Holyfield waiting to cross the street at a red light. I wasn't sure it was him at first, but then I realized he was wearing a shirt that said "Holyfield", so I assumed it was and he was okay with being noticed.
I went up to him and said, "Champ, it's really an honor to see you in person". He smiled, kind of laughed a little, said thank you and looked generally happy that I came up to him to say hello.
The reason I bring this up is this: he looked great for being 60 years old. Yeah, you could tell he was older, but he was still put together. All that said, he wasn't a big, intimidating dude. They said he was 6'2 226 in his prime. Maybe he shrunk a little in his old age, but he looked closer to 6'0. So to think someone that size can be the best boxer in the world just goes to show how skilled / fast he had to be.
He had a jacket zipped up about 1/3 of the way so you could only make out the middle few letters, but yeah - i agree!Wearing a shirt with your name on it is a power move
Yes it’s wild to think about. I’m 5’11” #220 and I would be a heavyweight in the UFC. That’s crazy. Francis Ngannou or john jones or Daniel Cormier or stipe would demolish me. That’s just wild. Not for nothing, but a few months ago I was waiting outside my hotel in downtown Atlanta for an Uber and I ran into Evander Holyfield waiting to cross the street at a red light. Pre prison mike Tyson would have f*caked that slow mfer up. No question about itTough question- because is best the most skilled or is it who would win in a head2head? Iron Mike was an animal, but at 5-10, 220 - is he really beating 6'9, 270 (w/skill)? IDK
49-0/43ko says otherwise. It seems like you're not sure.
Let me tell you something once and for all -- Rocky Marciano was good, but compared to Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano ain't ****.
