The current Board of Trustees at U of L has only 5 out of 13 members that are U of L alumni. That’s a voting minority. In comparison, the Board of Trustees at UK has 15 out of 21 members that are UK alumni, which is a voting majority. @_EthanMoore

I serve on a couple different Boards (not UofL). I act in the organizations best interest using all data and information I have at my disposal. I don’t think if I were on a school’s board being an alum or not would strongly influence my decision making. I think this is a bit of a dog whistle.

Yeah impossible to know people’s motives. All you can go by are their actions. I don’t know of anybody their actions that has hurt the program.

They have to fix football and basketball. That is it. They have to stay out of the news. They have to win games. Once that occurs we won’t care who is on the board. Right now neither program is doing well so it is someone’s fault and everyone has their opinion.
