Robideau’s fight spoke volumes as to what kind of wrestler he’s going to be. Was just relentless to the end. Duke is going to be PSU’s next hammerRobideau loses to PJ Duke 8-3. Duke is on another level, but Robideau wrestled hard. Got a takedown and nearly had another where earned a stepout.
Dee techs Daniel Heiser 14-4 in 3:47.
Villasenor loses to Grey Burnett 3-3 on criteria.
Young loses to Cameron Catrabone 7-1.
Any chance we recruit Coby?Coby Merrill (Cody’s little bigger brother) looked really good against Koy Hooke. Interested to see him and Ross
I agree. Duke looked to have a signicant size advantage as well.PJ Duke Is a special talent. Robideau is going to be really really good

Ross gets the win over Merrill by getting a takedown when he was behind 2 to 1 with all the points on passivity. Real nice win with a clutch single leg takedown.I asked a question about 2-3 months ago and no one could give me an answer. It was an issue I had w/ FS rules and point scoring so I said if I saw if I see it occur again in a match, I would bring an example to the forum. In the Merrill/Tompkins match, they were scrambling. Tompkins’ back exposed for 2pts at the 2:20ish minute mark. Then, at the 2:30 mark, Merrill gets control, w/ no points awarded? It was 3pts prior to the exchange and 5 pts after. Why did he get 2pts for the back exposure and but not 2 pts for the takedown? When I brought this up, as an example of rules in freestyle I didn’t like, no one knew what I was talking about. Please, someone explain to me why this happened.
I thought he looked much bigger also but his strength and speed was too much for Robideau. Landon never quit and did get a takedown near the end of the match. Hopefully it was because Landon figured something out and not because Duke slid into neutral.Duke looked much bigger
I want to second this question. Another set of scenarios….Scenario 1: wrestler 1 secures a takedown (+2pts), establishes position then rolls through with a high gut (+2pt). SemiWas that the semi or the final for Ross?
100% does not make senseI want to second this question. Another set of scenarios….Scenario 1: wrestler 1 secures a takedown (+2pts), establishes position then rolls through with a high gut (+2pt). Scenario 2: from
neutral, wrestler 1 rolls his opponent through with a head pinch (+2pts), then posts the head and goes behind for a takedown (+0pts). Why is the takedown worth points in one scenario and not the other?
They wrestled in an all-star match a couple of years again and Duke won 4-3Have Duke and Dee ever met?
Ramirez wins by tech as well.Robideau techs Cross Wasilewski 10-0 in 1:15. Wasilewski teched Robideau at last year's US Open.

Ramirez slept walked thru that match and earned that loss. He has wrestled a lot of matches in 2 days.Ronnie loses to Mack Mauger 5-3. Was down 3-1 late, got a takedown, but then gave up a reverse in the last couple seconds to make it 4-3. Lost challenge makes it 5-3. Ronnie takes 4th.
