Average hourly earnings increased 0.3% on the month, which was in line with forecasts, but the 12-month gain of 3.9% was below the outlook.
The December employment gain was entirely due to the Holiday season...just like it has been for years. The hourly earnings do not even keep up with inflation.

77 million Americans agree
Relax, those prices will be coming down soon. Trump said he would lower them. This is an issue that's important to voter and many said that's the reason they voted for him. Let's see how he does.

On the campaign trail, Trump vowed to lower food prices, saying at a rally on September 23, "Vote Trump and your incomes will soar. Your net worth will skyrocket. Your energy costs and grocery prices will come tumbling down." When talking about groceries in an interview last week, he said that he would "bring those prices way down."
Oops.

"I don't think so. Look, they got them up. I'd like to bring them down. It's hard to bring things down once they're up," he said. "You know, it's very hard. But I think that they will."

Yeah, he lied. Shocker.

Windy, Relax and take a deep breath. All those prices came down as promised the last time he was in office. Don’t worry, with the economy expected to improve, you might finally even get a job.

It's going to take Trump 4 years and Vance 8 years to fix what Bush, Obama, and Biden have screwed up. Maybe you will get lucky and Trump gets his first term as a do over being he was dealing with traitorous insurrectionist.

Huh? lol Inflation averaged 2.1% annually during his first 4 years so obviously prices went up each year he was in office, they didn't go down. Total fail. Joe's handoff is likely the high point of the Trump economy. Analysts are already lowering their expectations for 2025 and beyond. Remember the good times.

You add Clinton to that group. He helped China get into the WTO.

smh And tell the board why gas was briefly cheap during Trump's first term. Was it because the price of oil briefly went below $0 because the world shut down due to covid? Of course it was so Trump gets zero credit for bring gas prices down then and we won't see them that low again unless the world shuts down again and I don't think that will happen though I think it's decent odds that we get another pandemic during Trump's term and he won't know what to do with it again. Energy companies wish gas prices were higher now so good luck with Donnie's promise for more drilling because they won't go against their own interests.

You do realize gas was down before the Covid plandemic, right? You do realize mortgage rates were around 2.8%, right? You do realize current mortgage rates today are about 7%, right? You do realize most everything has doubled in price since Biden has been in office, right?

Doesn't matter. It's Trump's clown show now and I suggest you lower your expectations and quit believing Trump's lies. Trump is already acknowledging his election lies before his first day in office, take note. It's really just him breaking the bad news to MAGA because everyone else knew that he was spewing total nonsense during his campaign.

So you can’t refute those facts I posted about everything costing more now? It’s not Trump’s clown show now, it’s Biden and Harris clown show. Trump doesn’t take office until Jan 20th. Geez lol smh. At least you acknowledge it’s a clown show. I guess that’s a start. lol. What are the Trump lies?

Everything will cost more every year Trump is in office. That's how inflation works. Sorry to confuse you, the clown show officially starts Jan. 20.

cool story
They do. Every time a positive report comes out, 30 days later it's revised downward. There's absolutely no reason to believe anything they say. Ought to put one out every 90 days

Economic stats get revised up or down as more data comes in regardless of administration just like it has for decades or as long as I've followed it.

Know way moe is as dense as he acts on here . Democrats lost bigly and it was mostly due to the economy. Of course DEI , transgender and mandatory vaccination didn't help .
