A few years back they had enormous financial backing for an OCS, it was clear why it was axed when the news broke of them dropping football. I hope the support is still there, and I hope the fans take advantage of this situation and sell season tickets to every fan in the area that didn't show support until after the football shutdown announcement was made.

Curious as to the quality of team they will be able to field considering almost all their legitimate D1 kids have transferred to other programs.

Will take 1-3 years to get a team on the field with decent funding(which is only half way to the point it needs to be). I don't think they will be on the field until 2017, if at all. They still have a long ways to go, but I think their chances have increased, with renewed vigor from fans and investors. They had to be woken up, hopefully this will be their big, cold splash of water to the face.

It will be 3-5 years before they can even win more than just 2-3 games a season. Maybe the DOJ needs to investigate some of the shady dealings in Alabama with Bear Bryant's son. He's almost like the Don of the 'Bama Football Mafia

I hope the ncaa doesn't think this was a ploy to try to get people and penalize them.
