UAB Crushed Southern Miss 45-28 in 2014, before the program was temporarily ended. They were trending upward. They would have beat us tonight.

Do you UK fans realize that in order to rise in the SEC, teams like UAB and Southern Miss should be nothing more than warm-up games?

Ok. UAB has usually been bad but they've had some good moments too. Clark had them bowl eligible in year one after Garrick McGee went 3-9 and 2-10. I don't know how they'll do from scratch next year, but had they kept going I bet they'd have contended for the CUSA title this year. Clark, in my opinion, is that good.

This is a BS statement. SoMiss would be favored over all 4 of those teams. Time to stop playing the SEC card every time we feel bad about ourselves. Fact is, with the exception of Bama, and maybe GA, the SEC has looked like sh*t this weekend. SoMiss and several other "mid-majors" would compete for the East Division title this season.

It's UAB'S fault we can't line up and beat USM, or almost lost to ULL and EKU last year, and lost to WKU. Y'all have battered girlfriend syndrome and keep looking for excuses to keep being spoonfed the same **** sandwich. Wake the hell up.

Yes Southern Miss would beat all 4, but it shouldn't. We all know Mason is a dead man walking at Vandy and USC is a mess after Spurrier quit. Pinkel wasn't fired, but Mizzou is a mess for different reasons.

Again, if we want to climb up the SEC ladder, beating a team like Southern Miss is a must. Beating the likes of Vandy, USC with a new coach, Mizzou with a new coach, etc. is a must.
