No, just no.
1. If you're a UK fan, you don't want them in the CFP. They chirp enough.

2. Two teams from the ACC will not get in.

3. Hilarious that a couple of them came over here talking about Clemson losing. Their Clemson complex is comical.

4. IF they win win out--perhaps it's time we play spoilers. We suddenly have a ball-control offense and UL and BP suddenly want LJ to become Peyton in the pocket.

I don't pay attention to the rival stuff much anymore. I don't go on their board or go searching for fights. We're better in basketball but I'm realistic enough to know they have outperformed us in pretty much everything else. Would like to get to that level soon. Even just a decent New Years Bowl would be nice considering they will have had three BCS bowls in a decade.

I don't think they'd beat Alabama but I do want to see a fun game. We could settle hypotheticals after that game so no more so wondering.

8 of 9...two *** kicking in the tournament and Otis dosen't seem to have a problem...just saying

Again, show me where I've bad mouthed UK basketball. If you'll research, you'll find the opposite. I tell my fellow UofL fans to shut up until we beat you (other than 2013).

It's five, not six, and is there really that big of difference between five straight losses and four straight losses? Losing four in a row to UK certainly didn't prevent your fanbase from badmouthing UK. Just sayin..........
UofL has one 5 in a row, before that UK won 4 in a row, before that UofL took 7 out of 8. We have to be honest , they own the modern series and have had reason to be cocky and arrogant .

No, they don't "own" it. They're .500 overall, 6 games over in two plus decades. I would definite being owned as the last three decades vs. Florida or Tennessee, or their performance in basketball against Calipari since he came to UK.

UL has very good football team. Not top 5 but still very good. And the QB is legit.
Well they are ranked in the Top 5, the talking heads on the sports shows almost all list them in the Top 5, some even higher. They are good on both sides of the ball. Their schedule is a little suspect, but so is ours.

Baylor was ranked in the top ten. That was a joke. I could care less what the talking heads say.

UK beats Louisville by 21. Their team hasn't been the same since the Clemson loss. UK offensive line will blow UofL away. Kentucky is doing superb work in the trenches. This game was a season changer, attitude changer, career changer, and fan base boost. I look for great Kentucky football in the next few years. If Saban ever leaves, Kentucky could play for the SEC title 1 out of 3 years for years to come.

I am just trying to figure out why you think UK is going to run all over the UL defense? UL allows only 112 yds rushing per game. There is no way Uak is going to run for more than 200. Short accurate passing has hurt UL some and the Cats don't do that great.

Louisville was the only school to completely shut down Dalvin Cook of FSU...only LSU RB Leonard Fournette is in his league as far as College RB...

Well the CFP Rankings come out at 7:30pm tonight...they do matter because they seed the Playoffs and the NYD Six @ Large slots...my guess for Louisville is #5...

I would sort of agree as I think UofL will be 5 or 6 and I am ok with that. In the two years of the CFP of the 8 teams in the top 4 of the first poll only 3 were in the final CFP poll.

Yes..you have the three 1 loss teams-(Louisville, Ohio State & Texas A&M)...right now in the other two polls Louisville is #5...for Louisville must maintain being the Highest ranked ACC school if Clemson headed to the CFP for the Orange Bowl.

Told ya a 1 loss A&M , 1 loss OSU , and 1 loss Mich would get in over UL. And if Washington loses their game coming up on the road but wins the pac 12 title game......... I still bet they'd be ranked ahead of UL.

HAHAHA LMAO UL. Told people for weeks now that UL's SOS would kill them but hardly anyone listened.

The thing is they literally can't lose ONE Game...wow...

Myself when we lost to Clemson immediately said Orange Bowl...if we end up the Highest ranked ACC School-(and Clemson is in the CFP & ACC Champs) look like our opponents would come from Auburn, Florida, Nebraska or Wisconsin

All depends what happens around us...but if you even followed the first 2 years anyone could see the CFP was out-(TCU/Baylor in 2014)....Ohio State in 2015....again always about being the highest ranked ACC school not in the CFP

BC is 4-4. Wake Forest is 5-3. Houston is 7-2. UK is 5-3.

I'd like to return these cupcakes. They are not as soft, moist, and delicious as I was led to believe.
You have to keep up with the discussion. Beating Wake Forest or even UK isn't going to help your play off hopes. Losing to them will of course crush them but it's not the same as other teams you are playing against that still have the likes of Wisconsin or Mich State to boost their resume.

As much as it pains me to say, the bottomline is UL will still go to a great bowl. But as I said all fall, UL would not be in the playoffs.

The killer is being shut off from the 13th Game..the conference title game and that extra data point

Maybe not cause BC and Wake Forest still have a shot at finishing with winning records. Houston still has a winning record and will probably finish 9-3 unless they can back door their way into the AAC championship game. The kicker is eith UK looking like they may finish with a winning record then that helps out SOS instead of hurting it.

It depends on what UK does the rest of the way, doesn't it?

UK going 1-2 or even 2-1 in their next three games means a UofL win over UK is nothing as far as the CFP rankings go.

But a win over a UK that goes 3-0 in their next three actually would mean something, because an 8-3 UK would almost certainly be ranked in the CFP Top 25. The 2015 CFP top 25 week 12 had six 3-loss P5 schools in the rankings, and the 2014 CFP top 25 had seven 3-loss teams.

And finally, a UK team that goes 3-0 and wins the SEC East would give UofL an opportunity to play UK the week before UK plays Alabama, so UofL could benefit greatly by beating UK at least as convincingly as Alabama does the following week.

ESPN and Finebaum says uavel is a smoke and mirrors team 1 win over a team with a winning record,FSU and that team is fading fast.not going to make the playoffs and because of a pitifully small fan base that doesn't travel other 1 and 2 loss teams are going to be more desirable.too bad Little Brother

You were doing pretty good until you said UofL fans don't travel and then it went down hill. You do know that UofL had at least 30,000 at both the Orange and Sugar Bowls.

Do they all play for Louisville? I had no idea that a having a mere rooting interest gave a fan who never played for said team gave them a right to be arrogant.......but on the real, Louisville football is great; Petrino is a great coach, and Lamar Jackson is an excellent player and should win Heisman.....but,......Eff all of them; Eff Louisville!

It still takes more than UK winning out. 3 tickets are already punched, you are competing for #4. To do that you have move ahead of Washington, Ohio State and TAM. TAM is ahead of you and they are guaranteed to not lose to Bama in the SEC title game. Both them and Bama can win out unlike what is likely to happen in the Big 10. Washington probably stays in front even if they lose a game. Ohio State will drop out if they lose a game but I don't think they will. So you have to count on 3 unlikely scenarios happening without having a team below you bypassing you. If Florida wins out then they will.

UK isn't a big enough draw even as SEC east champions. The only way we help you is if we win out except to UL and then beat Bama for the SEC title. Even that won't drop Bama out so you are still looking at the #4 spot. And that will still take 2 to 3 teams ahead of you all losing.

Well A&M is out of their way. I think UL's real issue (other than the obvious undefeated Washington) is OSU beating Michigan in a close classic style game. Obviously UL fans need to root hard for Washington to lose and for Michigan to beat OSU.
