As annoying as some of their fans have proven to be, I can’t help but to continue liking this football team - their heart and toughness these past two seasons has been amazing and really fun to watch.

I can’t stand UCF. I hope they get absolutely pounded by whoever they play in their bowl. Their schedule is a f’ing joke. Honestly I hope they move to a P5 conference so they can feel the pain of having to play real teams every week. I guarantee they’d be a .500 team.
As I've repeated before, you can't separate a fanbase and a team. Maybe I'd like their team if their fans weren't such arrogant a-holes who act like they're the center of the college football world.
I think it's hard to look past 25 straight wins - it speaks volumes to the culture Frost built.

Excuse me! I am a UCF fan and I am not white trash. I'm a Husker to the bone but I can like and appreciate other teams.

Gotta give it up for UCF. Those guys know how to win. I think they deserve to be in the playoffs based on the whole body of work over the past two seasons. What more do they need to prove?

2 seasons? So games that were played 15 months ago should have bearing on who plays in the playoff this year? This is the 2018 playoff-2017 is completely irrelevant. And if you're going to use what they did last year, then you should consider that for every single other team too. Otherwise you are being completely arbitrary and making a complete mockery of the process. Every team should be judged using the same criteria. You can't use UCF's record last year just because it bolsters your argument. You have to use EVERY team's record last year, or none. That is the only fair way.

hate on UCF. Why can’t we appreciate & respect what the have done under our coach & what they are continuing to do. I really din’t get it from”the greatest fans”! No wonder h3 , SM-I-am Luckie ( are they the same person) are so critical & skeptical !!
I respected what they did under Frost last year and pulled for them only because it made Frost look better, But I didn't think they should be in the playoff last year, nor do I this year. Once Frost was gone from there. I have zero reason to cheer for them or "respect" them when they don't play the same type of schedule as other teams do. The 4 best teams deserve to be there. They simply do not play the type of schedule that major conferences do in order to prove that they are one of the 4 best teams. They have not defeated a single team currently ranked in the top 25. I don't care that it isn't their fault since they play in a weak conference. This isn't about 25 game winning streaks that are completely irrelevant when half of those games were played last year. This isn't about cool stories because people like something different. This is about the 4 best teams this year, period. They simply have not proven they are one of those because they do not play a tough enough schedule. If they don't like that, then they should either find a better conference willing to take them or take an "anybody, anywhere" approach and stop demanding home and home deals with major conference schools.

This time next year Nebraska will be ranked ahead of UCF. The only hope you guys have is to keep playing the little sisters of the poor as you have forever. Undefeated for two years and sagarin has you guys at 18 or something like that. Now that’s worth a laugh. Haha.

Why else would I be on an opposing teams message boards on a Saturday night during Championship weekend. evidently it is not that difficult to go undefeated at UCF with their schedule, now is it? i mean a coach with ZERO (that's right, i said ZERO -- not a misprint) head coaching experience did it this year. plus we all saw what frost can do when he coaches in a real conference --- EIGHT losses!!!

I watched the game, and the fix was in. At critical times, especially early in the second half, Memphis was flagged for questionable penalties. Twice, the refs flagged coastal flori-duh but picked up the flags. The announcers said coastal flori-duh (devry) should have been penalized.
Feelings for most UCF fans were hurt when Scott left for Nebraska but we thank him for what he built at UCF and for the players he recruited. He also recruited Mack our back up QB and the kid has played lights out for UCF since Milton went down. Milton even said he wishes nothing but the best for Coach Frost as he was like a father figure to him. Frost called Milton on his birthday to wish him a Happy Birthday. Says a lot about Frost to do that. Frost already has Nebraska turned around and you guys are going to beat a lot of teams next year. I see 10-2 or better. Huepel has kept the train going in the right direction for UCF and it will be no easy task to beat LSU.
Let's give them Nebraska's schedule and assume they have milton.
They roll Colo, troy, and bethune.
They kill Illinois and minny.
They are favored over purd, sparty, and at nw by at least a td
They are fav at Wisconsin by like 4 or so.
They are dogs at Ohio st and Michigan by about 10 or so.
They are about a pick em at iowa.
Give em the first 5, about 2.5 of the next 3, 1 of the next 3 , and half vs iowa.
9 and 3, a far cry from .500 in what I think is a real conf, and the same record as penn st who I think they're about even with (I would favor UCF).

I disagree. They would have started out 2-4 with our schedule. Let’s just give them wins against BC, Minnesota and Illinois. Go ahead and throw in another win which I’m not sure they’d even get. There you have it 6-6.

That'll be 2 big programs in a row a big stage and will be 26-0. What entertaining excuses are you gonna come up with then, as any credibility you have will be completely thrown out the window as well as being called out by quite a few? Well the whole point is that even if they win, only 2 of those 26 wins were against worthy opponents. Someone else was complaining about why we keep bringing up their schedule and it’s because of posts like this, but fine, if they pound LSU I’ll admit they are good. If LSU beats their *** will you admit they are grossly overrated?
