6'6 kid that can handle the rock and just a freshman. The players we might have a chance to recruit in the next few years in this league is going to be fun.

He has a complete game. Can handle, shoot from the outside, drive the basket, and is a decent defender. He would play either the 2 or 3 in the Association

NCAA needs to change the rule of you are fouled while the clock is stopped. Bring back the intentional foul, 2 shots and ball. This garbage of teams essentially being able to choose who goes to the line before it is inbounded is terrible.

We already did. Winning out would have left SMU with three losses.

Me, we already controlled our own destiny before this happened. Now it makes next Sunday's game a guaranteed fight for the regular season championship regardless of what happens on Wednesday

Okay, we now have more degrees of freedom. Of the four possible out comes of two games three result in Championship or Co-Championship.

Not sure how I feel about this game. Sure if is always great to see SMU get beat and put us in 1st place. But it really made no difference in what we needed to do. We still have to beat SMU to be the number 1 seed at the tournament. It does allow us to share a conf title if we take care of Cincy but that is really where the benefit ends. Just hope it does not put UCONN back in the bubble area.

Couldn't agree more. This is such a good league that leading the league is like getting a two seed bump.

It will be interesting to see what the Bracketologist do with us this week.

Huge perception change nationally for Tulsa I think.

GO TU!!!!

+1 Junkie. Someone will try to deny him that but there is no doubt that where the media picked TU to finish and what they have done has been remarkable.

All the bracketologists will have to look at the standings and see Tulsa alone at the top of a multi-bid conference. They are still looking on how to make us "last four out". Cincy is "the game of the season" for sure.

Agree II.

Could you imagine if Tulsa beat Cincy? Tulsa - in. SMU - in. Temple and Cincy could both make the case that they are in (provided they win their last games). And then UCONN wins the tourney (I think it will happen).

The power 5 CANNOT allow that to happen.

As long as we are in 1st place, we are off Lunardi's bubble & instead we are the AAC's auto-bid. I'll guess we will be an 11 seed tomorrow.

Can an autobid play in those? Or are they reserved for last at-larges?

I believe the play in games are for the last 4 at-large teams & the last 4 auto bid teams (16 seeds.)
