It's a shame, as he was the best rim protector UConn had. This season has gone sour pretty quickly. Probably Whaley is the recipient of most of the lost Yakwe minutes.

I am leaning towards blowing it up but other than Brendan Adams, what young players is he speaking of?

One of the refs just suffered a serious knee injury jostling for position to make a call. He was taken off he court. Going with a 2 man officiating crew now

UConn outrebounded UCF BUT was outshot 57% to 32% which is never going to win. The TOs in this game were basically more of the same, pushing the ball when there is nothing there. The offense looks unfixably TO prone.

UConn has looked very weak in every single game they have had against top 100 NET teams except Syracuse and that game now seems like an outlier.
