What a great Euro. So many captivating matches. Spain looked to be the best throughout the tournament. England didn't look nearly as good, but they played a heck of a match in the final.
that is correct. They won the World Cup in 1966. England was in the 2020 Euro finals, but lost in PKs to Italy.
Ted Williams never played on a World Series winner.

For a country that chronically over estimates its football ability, he actually revitalized their development system, brought through some amazing young talent and led them to the late stages of the biggest international tournaments. The next manager is set up for some real success as Southgate prepares for a return to club football (likely Man Utd after next season).
