Jacob Eason, 1st pick in the 2019 NFL draft.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Drew Lock get drafted early as well.

Here's what bothered me about that game.

I thought that Mizzou was a very winnable game; yet they nearly beat Georgia. If they came that close to beating Georgia, what are they going to do to us?

Now, since Georgia struggled to beat Mizzou, does that mean that Georgia is beatable?

No, it sure doesn't. Georgia will crush us.

No way we hold chubb to 65 yards. One thing about Mizz ever since they have dame into SEC they have had a pretty good D line. I would trade their D line for ours any day of the werk. They all ways have a handful of good pashrushers as well. Everyone saying we would bet MIZZ this year has had me scratching my head and still now people think we will bet MIZZ . I am not so sure about that. Road game as well.

Chubb only 63 yds??? Didn't expect Mizzou to shut down UGA running game.

Missouri was stacking the box with 8 and 9 guys every play. They were determined Chubb wasn't going to beat them and he didn't. Combine that with an OL that has a couple guys playing because we don't have anyone else, we couldn't get any movement. They gambled Eason wouldn't be able to beat them, we dropped at least 1 TD pass, multiple drops on the field, missed 2 field goals inside 30 yards. It was a struggle, DL is improving, OL is not.

One thing I believe has hurt is we are still rotating qbs at practice, that is probably over with now. i also think we have some older guys who are still Richt guys and haven't completely bought in to Kirby's way. But as the old saying goes, any ugly win is much sweeter than a pretty loss, I think we probably go 8-4 this year. Our OL play isn't going to get much better I am afraid, OM will not be pretty.

Georgia is not very good. Barely beat Nicholls last week. Now, they might whip us good because of what they do well. But it doesn't mean Missouri is good.

Georgia was all hot to get rid of their known good coach, and now they've got their overrated coordinator.

I agree we aren't very good, our OL is beyond bad, we are starting a FCS grad transfer at LT, our best G is playing RT, a moved DL is playing RG and 2 guys under 290 are playing LG and C. Defense is very young, but improving, OL is a lost cause, but hopefully we won't be seeing 9 man fronts every snap from this point on.

A Richt led team would not have won the game last night, you are correct Richt is a good coach. But he had become too comfortable at UGA, he needed a change too, he looked much more comfortable Sat. than he has in 6-7 years at UGA.. Did we hire an improvement, only time will tell with that, we can be pretty good next year if he is the right hire, we casn be real good in 18 if he is. Our biggest issue is OL, Richt signed 1-2 OL every year who we were their only FBS offer and that is glaring at us right now., undersized and/or slow. I am 63 years old and can beat our FCS transfer around the edge, well for 1 play then I would need the O bottle.

UGA beats us by 3 TDs unless we get our act together.

It's just a shame as poor as the rest of the East teams look that we can't even manage to come close to capitalizing. Regardless of the quality of the East then Mizzou capitalized and won the East twice. We haven't even managed it once ever. Georgia Florida and Tennessee are all extremely beatable and we got blasted by one and will definitely be in for more of the same @ Tennessee and v Georgia. The DL is what it is....help isn't coming folks.

I agree it was time for Richt to leave- it was just time for a parting of the ways. I'm not sold on Kirby though. Without that late strip of the ball, Georgia very well could have lost that game. Having said that, Georgia football is light years ahead of UK football so not much can be said.

We'll hold Chubb to under 65 yards - maybe through the end of the 1st Qtr.[pfftt]

I'm not sure if last night's game is an indicator that Mizzou may be better than expected, or UGA is not as good as expected, or some combination of the two. Regardless, it's hard to see UK beating either one of them right now.

Both the NC game and Missouri game had "Richt loss" written all over them at various points in the second half.
