both are encouraging.
Somewhat. That loss to Wake really hurt. At this point, I was hoping to be past the idea that close losses to unranked Providence and Wake are moral victories. But the pieces are there, CC seems to have recruited some real talent to NU, he just needs to figure out the right combinations. I'm concerned that it's going to be even MORE confusing for him once Audige gets back. In some ways it's a good problem to have as opposed to Carmody who only had 4-5 true BIG players, but it's also really furstrating.

We should be unbeaten. My hope, if Audige actually does return to the team, is that Collins is aware that his weakness right now is at small forward, where he has been alternating Simmons and Roper. If he puts Audige in that spot and it works, then things should be simple. If he thinks he has it solved with Simmons and Roper at the 3, then Audige is going to disrupt the backcourt situation, taking minutes from 3 guys who have been fairly effective (Buie, Greer and Berry).

4-5 players ? Are you talking about during his career ?

Memphis might be overrated at #18. Lost to Ole Miss today. No shock, but lost.

From what I've seen of Memphis this year, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing and win (when they do) based purely on talent. As good as Hardaway is as a recruiter, he's just as bad as a basketball coach.
