Dismissed by whom? Alarmists scientists? Remember, the warming pause? It was dismissed also until the IPCC admitted the pause. Back and forth, back and forth.

You don't destroy whole industries without definitive proof and we have none. NASA can't say in 2015 no polar ice retreat and then slightly later someone claims they are wrong without raising very serious questions.
