Their defense is the best in the country. Unlikely to drop 10. 20 is a 0% probability.
I like the start. I hope this season doesn’t end up as mediocre and disappointing. I definitely think we have the talent, depth, and coaching (no knock on CJBH) to be successful but their first real test is coming up.

I'm expecting a score in the high 70s, low 80s against Duke. I think Duke takes the early lead, and UK comes back to make it close at the end.
Sion James is the one Dukie I wish Pope had picked up from the portal. He's the physical 3/4 that we're missing on this team. He can defend three positions. I think the Dukies got a steal when they landed him.

First off it was a joke about the 20 threes.

We went 19-12 that year. That may not be the indicator of a great season we want.
As other posted established in the other thread, I actually went to UK and give money to the K Fund. Don’t question my fandom
That was team turmoil. Chuck Alexsinas transferred after the December semester.
I did a little model on the team after we knew who the 9 portal guys were gonna be and just those 9 guys last year averaged 106.6 point per game not including the freshman. I knew one thing already is we'd be able to hang a bunch of points on the board and it's proven true so far.
If we can keep this trend up, its bound to pay off....but...and I do think this will happen, better competition may lower the overall points total for games. In early season, 2 games we've seen some defense but nothing like what we may see during the conference games....
Cal settled for avg in lower 80s........every once in a while, teams score better. I think that's what we have.
