UK currently an 8.5 point favorite over UNC

As long as I can remember. Now, college sports is no different than pro sports.
That line is way too high. Kentucky has played two teams with a pulse, and have looked incompetent against both. I am a gambler. I’m very picky on what I actually pull the trigger on.
It has to be a line that I think is way off. However, I don’t bet against teams I root for.
I have this line at UK -2.5
This game has more historical importance than the Indiana or Louisville games, which we've dominated. UNC still leads in the all-time head-to-head 25-18. Got to get this one to continue to cut into that gap. Pope better not eff this one up.

ESPN's predictor gives Kentucky an 86.2 chance of winning too. Wonder what has Vegas and computers so confident in Kentucky given how the team laid an egg in their first two games against good competition?

To computers, the games against bad teams might be just as important as games against good teams.
Against the bad teams, UK looks great. They beat the bad teams by margins expected from top 10 teams. Those 5 games against bad teams represents a larger sample than the 2 games against good teams. Those 5 games pull UK's rating up quite substantially.
Barttorvik currently has UK as about a 6 point favorite. That system has UK ranked 18th. UK's ranked higher in Kenpom so it's predicted MOV is even bigger.
Being down two of your ideal starters would be a pretty reasonable excuse had the games been close. Obviously doesn't change the record at the end of the day though.

If the game were close, yes. But the lack of effort and getting blown off the court. And not playing any defense. Can't be put on 2 players being out.
Yep and home court is 3 pts. It’s not that complicated. Computers say we are 5-6pts better than UNC and the rest comes from being at Rupp.

We haven't seen our team play a good team at home yet. Maybe that's why Vegas is more comfortable giving UK a bigger line than we thought. I think it's high too though.

Trimble being out for UNC is a bigger deal than you all are realizing. UK is also better in every metric. Add the home court advantage and the line isn’t really that surprising.

Well UK has to prove they are good by beating someone with a pulse. Now would be a good time to start.
People belive UK is good, what have we shown this season to make anyone actually think we are good? I haven’t seen anything.

I bet a lot on football and do pretty good but does anyone have any advice on what your go to is.
I usually place a two way bet one on a big spread for the favorable and one on the opposing team to win or small spread to atleast win some of the money I put on the big spread.
