UK fans truly believe the NCAA, SEC, NIKE, USA Basketball, and all referees have it out for them.. if I truly believed that, there’s no way I could be a fan.. imagine every organization involved with basketball having the goal of screwing your team and only your team! Why would you even watch the games?
Maybe they are basing it on this years ky players and assuming next years class won’t have anyone that’s very exciting to watch either? No?
They should be mad! They are being completely disrespected! Look at how many titles they’ve won in the last 20 years! Like 5 or 6 right? Well, I guess only one, but that’s only because the refs screwed ‘em!!
They ARE the face of college basketball!! Remember that one year they almost went undefeated?? And then there was that year they were going to win the NIT, but the refs interfered

Speaking of recruits, I love how they keep telling themselves that Terrence Clarke chose uk over Duke. He did not, because they simply can’t or don’t want to get in their heads, that Duke never offered him.
This is obviously a conspiracy by Nike, DSPN, the NCAA, Coach K, and the Illuminati.
Which is a stupid argument considering there is only one Duke guy and one unc guy on there.
Only the ones that hof coach roy williams has told them to look elsewhere to play because they are not tar heel material and they can't learn the complicated system he demands.OFC

You forgot every reporter and lately even the computer models like Kenpom. Richards being left off the Kareem Watch list is the latest outrage.
They got mad—at a UK fan that does a tournament predictor model—because it has Duke as #1 and UK like #30 or something. The author said it’s a ranking of how well each team is predicted to finish in the NCAA tournament when you compare them to similar teams from past tournaments. They nearly ran the poor guy outta town.
I honestly do not see where you guys get this information about Kentucky fans . Every fan base has a select few that nit pick and moan about everything. Yes we have our fair share of idiots, but so does Duke and UNC and Kansas and......everyone else.Just look through any of the threads on this forum and you will see the same exact thing that you guys say UK/UNC fans gripe about. No im not here to bash any team or any of you fans. And before i get called a troll, im not that either. Im a fan of the game and visit different forums to see what different fan bases are saying and talking about. This board has alot of good posters but like any other fan base it has the " sky is falling " crowd as well when Duke loses. But to say RR is always talking about Duke the same can be said about you guys and UK and UNC. Right of the bat i see 3 threads with UK in the title.
As a rational UK fan I know whats being said and while most of it is just common discussions about whatever is in todays news, there are a few that say stupid and irrational things but lets be honest here, every fan base of any sport has these types. Duke fans are no exception. Pot calling the kettle black, wouldnt you say?
No conspiracy theories going on about UK not getting any recruits on the Nike Hoop Summit Roster. I must say that it does make one wonder why though, especially considering UK has 2 top 5 guys in BJ Boston and Terrance Clark. Not to mention Boston is on the same team as Ziare Williams (sp?) Who did make the roster ,and out plays and out performs him in just about every game. Maybe team USA ties? Who knows but congratulations to your incoming point guard Jeremy Roach for making the roster!

Reading this comment tempted me to go venture on RR and I did. Lol. They even have a thread on there talking about how bad the Duke/unc jerseys look for tomorrow’s game. My goodness! I think we might be more than rent free.

As i said, i am a fan of college basketball and this is a free public forum to discuss matters and thoughts. I saw a thread that caught my attention. I decided to read and comment on the free, public forum. Also if you did go to any other CBB forums and approached it with an open, non- aggressive approach, i am sure youd be welcomed to discuss your thoughts and give your input on any matter.

I just don't get why you saw the need to come this board with that. You know without a doubt if I had did the same on RR I would have been banned or blasted off the board. But just so you know whenever UK plays unc in any competition from basketball to football or women's wrestling or even college week on Jeopardy and there's an ugly as a bull frog UK male student and absolutley beautiful unc co-ed in final Jeopardy ( a Duke student has alresdy been eliminated) I'm pulling for the UK bull frog. Don’t really keep up, watch or put much stock in these games but it doesn’t make much sense not to have two of the top 15 players in a game like this. Boston and Clarke are two of, if not the best at their position. Don’t know how they pick teams for these type of games but it really don’t make sense when they don’t put all the top players on the teams.
I thought I read Kessler, Love and Sharpe from unCheat are on the Nike Hoops Summit team but just 1 Dukie.
