Since he is from Israel, I notice Auburn is recruiting him since Coach Pearl is a Jew it is possible he may have the inside track.

I guess you can’t sign an active NBA player, probably due to provisions in the NBA contract… but unless the NCAA has a specific rule about NBA service time ending eligibility, I don’t see that there’s an argument that you couldn’t have a former NBA player. Maybe some kids that flame out after their first contract could explore coming back to college. Weird stuff.

Think like Dragan Bender - never played in college, straight to the NBA out of Croatia. Played 2016-2020, now plays pro in Israel. He’s only 27 and is 7 foot, has won the Israeli cup a few times. What’s the argument that he couldn’t go the college route?

Hey, if you have not used your eligibility, anything might be possible. It is pay for play now and the university and coach are in direct negotiations with the players/agents. They are no longer amateurs.

I mean they can’t even limit players who have already played 2 years of community college to 2 more years in D1. It is getting nuts.

Funny and ironic how the left has been screaming HITLER for the last 8 years, but now they are openly and publicly anti semitic. Can’t even talk about a bball player without the hate pouring out of you tolerant lefties.

Obviously you can’t bring back an NBA player but if someone asked me what rule is preventing it I wouldn’t know how to answer
It's not that obvious to me. Some real rules had better get established, or someone will try it.
Looking at you Bruce Pearl.
But to be honest, I'm all in on bringing back Reed Sheppard.

This guy doesn't look very good to me. But I'm not the expert so will defer to the coaches recruiting him.

Pope needs to start recruiting a player named Either that plays the same position. To make this recruitment truly an Either/Or scenario.

Congrats on the first dumb post of the 2025. Yes, Penny has the inside track on every black player, Catholic University has the inside track on every Catholic, Pope certainly will land any Mormon that can play, etc.
