The young man sounds like a person who is very attentive to football, and what the coaches are telling him. Coach Stoops and Coach Eliot seem to be very high on him.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

I would bet on him being an early starter. You don't keep players like this out of the lineup.

With how much UK rotates CB spots...even if Griffin can't unseat Westry (no way he unseats Baity IMO)...he'll play alot of snaps regardless with JD Harmon graduating.

Yep. He will be on the field a ton next year. Wouldn't be surprised if he played some nickel as well.

5 dbs on most snaps means about 370 snaps/game for dbs to take next year. Baity, Westry, and edwards are gonna get about 170.

UK played Baity Westry Edwards Mclain mcwilson Randolph Harmon the vast majority of snaps. Next year it will be Baity Westry Edwards Randolph for sure getting lots of snaps. The guys who will battle for those extra spots will be Johnson Robinson Griffin and West. If I had to her I think Griffin takes Harmons spot as the 3rd corner and Johnson plays mcwilson role. I could see Griffin playing 45 percent of the snaps

You also have a very talented guy named Marcus Walker who will be in the safety rotation. He was a 4 * on ESPNs top 300 coming in at 214th overall and 15th at his position. Plus he is from Florida and some would make you believe that means he is naturally faster and more talented.

I like Walker but I do not see him beating out Randolph West or Johnson next year. He is a talented kid no doubt.

People totally counting out west amuses me. Kid has some real talent and coaches were very high on him last summer before the injury.

Wow, we are going to be loaded at secondary next year. Other than Alabama (of course) will anybody be better? Florida loses their guys to NFL.

Who counted out West? I named him as a guy who will battle for starter reps. I love his ability but two major injuries and he has guy ahead of him in Randolph who played really well last year. He should be in the rotation for sure.
