Mizzou looks to have fallen off a bit as of late, lost 3 of last 4, Ark, Vandy, Oklahoma. Hopefully we are catching em at a good time and while we're back on an upswing. Won't be easy, but I'm not unconfident.
ALL of them on the road. They are a LOT better team at home.

Spread was about what I expected. Home court advantage is about 3 points. So pretty evenly talented. What I was surprised with was the 170 total. Might have to put a little something something on the over. Both teams average over 80, expect a close game throughout, so it SHOULD go over if teams shoot it worth a damn. Free throws at the end of a close game might be the difference.

Most teams are, but we took care of Oklahoma at their place and Mizz lost by 12 to them. I'm not necessarily expecting a win, but I'm not to worried about being blown out.

I'm sure we've been an underdog this many times with a bad team like the 08-09 or 20-21 seasons but have we ever had a season in which we've had a team good enough to be a top 3-4 seed in the NCAA tournament but been the underdog this many times?.

Fantastic. A close spread = the worst SEC refs will be assigned to manipulate the game to that spread.

Every time the spread is close we've ended up with one or two of the same dudes - Shows, Adams, etc.
the way mizzou plays at home, they’ll have to be on our side a good portion of the game.

Mizzou is undefeated at home in conference and only has one loss at home all year. They've dogwalked some good teams this year at home. You know it's going to be a t-shirt day too. I just UK to be competitive tomorrow. I'm not expecting a win.

Not true. Lost to Texas A&M at home.

Winning at Oklahoma and at Missouri are two totally different things. Also, yes Missouri did lose to Oklahoma, but the game was AT Oklahoma, which was my whole point that they are better at HOME. Now if you wanted to use Texas A&M beat them at Missouri and we beat Texas A&M (fairly comfort fashion, DD's) at RUPP, you might have an argument.

Not really a good point there either because we beat Texas A&M without Wade Taylor IV. Make no mistake…winning at Missouri is an insane task.

They lost TN at their place. We smoked TN, this should be a cake walk.

Not feeling confident about tomorrow. Just hoping to get through the game with no additional injuries.

Not really. They lost AT TN by 4. But the whole point of this argument is they are a LOT better at HOME, not on the road. Examples below and UK had some bad outcomes against those teams.
They also :
Smoked Arkansas by 18, we know how our game turned out at home v/s them.
Beat Ole Miss by 8, once again, Ole Miss demolished UK
At HOME they absolutely smoked Oklahoma by 24 (once again, they play better at home)
@ Georgia, they beat Georgia by 13, once again UK LOST

You can keep making one way slants all you want (whatever makes you feel good), but AT Missouri will be a chore. I hope I am wrong, but do not think so.

Anyone arguing that we SHOULD win at Missouri hasn’t watched them. You are correct, they are very tough in Columbia. We are going to have to play ridiculous to win.

It’s hard to be confident about this team because they are so inconsistent. Even within the same game they can look like world beaters or like they don’t belong.

It’s to change that. Missouri is due to lose at home and who better to give it to them?

I expect UK to win tomorrow. We can’t finish 9-9 in the conference.

I don’t think I’ve watched even one minute of Missouri play this season. I couldn’t pick out any player on their team from a lineup.

I know you can’t go by numbers but the numbers show they score a lot and give up a lot. And not particularly good rebounding.

We score a lot too. Our defense and rebounding is much improved.

So if it’s a shootout we win.

Tomorrow you will be able to pick out Caleb Grill. He is a stud. Averages 14.4 ppg, shoots 43% from 3 on almost 7 3's taken per game. Also averages 4 rebounds and almost 2 steals per game.

Mark Mitchell played at Duke before transferring to Missouri. He averages 14.1 ppg.
Tamar Bates averages 13 ppg and 41% from 3.
All of Missouri's top 6/7 scorers are guards. Kind of odd.

I’m not saying they don’t have good players. They obviously do.

I just don’t know who they are.

I’m not a college basketball fan. Coaches, officials and administrators ruined the college game a long time ago.

I’m a UK fan! What happens in college basketball outside of UK I couldn’t care less about.

I give a cursory watch to the NCAA tournament games that UK is not playing in just to see who’s winning.

I probably didn’t watch 5 minutes the FF last year.

I know there’s great players out there for other teams. And I’ll see them if and when they play UK.

I never miss watching a UK game

I do watch the NBA regularly though.

And even the WNBA. Usually their playoffs. Not a lot of regular season.

The Knicks Lakers last night was terrific.

Plus I got to see Kat and Vanderbilt play. OK City is a terrific watch playing anyone. And get to see SGA and Wallace. Denver is great to watch. And get to see Murray play.

I’m a basketball fan. I hate that the college game has gotten so bad.

But God made basketball for UK to dominate. So I’ll put up with the nonsense to watch UK.

Hey man, nothing wrong with being UK first. I’ll say when you openly admit you don’t watch other teams, maybe you saying we should easily beat a team is silly. As for Grill, you’re talking microwave of microwaves. He’s the kind of guy that can get hot and absolutely bury you. Sure hope we win, go Cats!

Hate the Noon ET start time and how if we lose I have to feel the rest of the day kind of ruins it
Here’s a ruin your day story. Middle child has soccer in KC tomorrow. Have to be there by 1:45 (cst). We live in Springfield area. Roughly 3 hr drive. I’m meeting a bunch of buddies, with the 14 yr old, at a sports bar in KC to watch the game. Instead of leaving the house at 11ish, leaving at 8. Rather than be gone a mere 12 hrs (for two U15 soccer games), we will be out 15 hrs just so I can squeeze the game in. Oh, and I FREAKING HATE soccer. There’s a nutty UK fan scenario for you. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I dint know if i buy into the home court advantage thing THAT much. It's for sure a factor.. but I also think the law of averages would eventually work itself out.

Their games at home are also a little suss in terms of quality, compare to the road games. At home they had: lsu, vandy, Arkansas, Ole miss, TAM, OU, Bama, SC, UK.

That's clearly a weaker home slate compared to a lot of teams. They played the current top8 seeds in the SEC only once each. The three opponents they played twice are 10th place Vandy, 12th place Arkansas and 14th place OU..

SEC is gonna be tough no matter what, but their schedule was certainly on the easier side. I'm not thinking we win, but I very much believe this game is in our reach.

If I had to guess which game would be like a 2011 OSU tournament game, where no one was picking us, but there were some flaws in tge opponent/matchup, and we got the win in somewhat surprising fashion... this is one of those games. I like our chances. Mizz is a little bit of a paper tiger in the SEC.
