We are beginning to hear UK's name more frequently with top recruits in the Sunshine State. The word on the street is Kentucky is trending upward and more and more quality SEC capable recruits are showing real interest. The UK staff is spending a lot of time down here and it is going to pay off big time. The new facilities are a huge positive.

Several things to look for down here in the immediate future.

1) Florida's recruiting seems to be suffering. The trend is down according to Gator fans.
2) USF lost their head coach but are prepared to pay big $$$$ to move their program forward. They like 10 win seasons and think they can bring in an established winning coach. But will the new coach be able to recruit with ACC or SEC schools.
3) Miami is expected to do well but there is so much talent in the area. Plenty for Kentucky to recruit.
4( FSU is FSU. But again there is so much talent available.

Overall look for Kentucky to reap some benefits and bring some of the cream from Florida to Commonwealth Stadium. The high school talent is abundant and the SEC is popular down here. This should equal big success for the Cats.

I have lived in Central Florida for the past 22 years. UK fans support the program very well here, our alumni, as a whole - wear the colors and logos well. So, UK, even though not known as a football school, has kept UK's name around. Plus I have noticed that visitors to this area who are from Kentucky seem to wear UK caps, jerseys, etc.. I think the high school kids here know UK and beating U of L has/is helping. We do need to beat Florida though!

Go Big Blue!
