Those girls are good! Fun game to watch. I think baseball might be better attended if they went to 7 innings. I know the traditionalist would die

Seriously though... softball is a great draw because it's fast paced and not that long.
And did it out in Arizona. You could see that Arizona is a very good team. With the score 7-6 and playing as the visitors, UK kept them from scoring the last two innings. With pretty much a whole new pitching staff, you would expect that it would take some time to get rounded into shape but they also had veterans that were struggling a bit. Stoddard who had played a pretty consistent 3rd last year just got her first hit yesterday. They are not bad defensively and Schoonover and Lacatena even Sullivan from WKU look pretty solid. The pitching staff coming together is key for them as they have 7 seniors, six of which play a lot so they have the experience to go far.
The softball coach is one hell of coach. Beating Arizona there is a great win. If they win today, they will be 9-1. That’s an outstanding start.
They did. Not 23-0 but 11-1 in 6 over the same UC Santa Barbara team.
