Auburn and Troy were tied 5-5 when the game was delayed. I bet they just cancel that and call it a wash.
I don't understand why TAMU is higher than us in RPI. Maybe because they have one more win than us? Still, we have a better SOS than them (14 v. 17) and we are 15-12 against RPI top 50 while they are 9-14 and we are ahead of them in the SEC standings. Just doesn't add up to me, but what do I know?!

Bringhurst comes in for the bottom of the 8th. He gets a grounder to second to start the Racer 8th.
Bringhurst then gets a strikeout for the second out of the inning. This one of the swinging variety.

Great game. I know it's Murray, but I like a no-doubter. Hopefully the guys are feeling good and we can go into Nashville and kick some Candy ***.
Schaenzer threw over 60 pitches, but otherwise, don't think any of the pitchers threw too many pitches tonight and They didn't need Machamer, which is a good thing heading to the final series against Vandy. Has there been any indication yet as to whether Lewis, Haake, and/or Coleman will be available this weekend?

^ Maybe Vandy will use up all of their hits and runs for the week against the Blue Raiders.
It’s suppose to rain and storm in Nashville until at least Saturday. They have to play these games don’t they? It’s gonna be tough to find an extended time period to play a full game.
Coleman was available Sunday, so I'm sure he will be ready for Vandy. Haake and Lewis were resting tired arms. No injuries. Lots of tired arms this time of year. Not sure if either will pitch at Vandy, but I expect JLew will.
VU has turf field so I guess it will depend on the severity of the rain/storms.
Everyone out of the bullpen should be on a short leash. They are all susceptible to bad outings.
